Has anyone noticed the average football fan doesn't realize Romo has won a playoff game?

That Tony Romo HAS actually won a playoff game? Now that we're postseason relevant again, I'm noticing this awful omission from the average football fan. Barbershop, water cooler, even some TV pundits seem to miss this as they STILL ramble on about "how he can't win in the playoffs....will choke.. etc.." Even more maddening is the Seattle bobbled snap is STILL being brought up... Lol. Am I the only one noticing that people miss this about Romo? I find it laughable.

The media and most fans treat Romo like they treat Manziel. No facts what so ever to support their feelings, just media driven BS and most of it is wrong. AND the haters do not even realize they are haters, they "think" their opinion is their own, but they have been force fed that opinion over and over and over.

Someone who considers himself a Cowboy fan said that at my house the other day. I just kind of politely reminded him that , yes, Dallas has been to the 2nd round of the playoffs twice with Romo--one via a bye and one following a WC win vs Philly.
He just said..."oh".

As for the Seattle special teams flub by Romo....that took place his nearly 9 years ago and in his 1st year as a starter...that's always been a head-scratcher anyway. As a QB, with he game on the line, he made play after play to get them in that position. They were inches from a first down inside the 2 yard line and may have gotten it if there was instant replay for that stuff back then. He didn't all of a sudden choke because he was a special teams holder. silliness....and a lifetime ago anyway.

Oh well, maybe they can win one or two this year to continue this turnaround.

I don't recall Romo saying he was uncomfortable with it. Romo was the placeholder before being coming the starting QB. Now if you are arguing that should have changed when he became starting qb. Fair point. Parcells thought it would hurt the kicking game. If you think that's nonsense again fair point. But this feels like your making things up to excuse the gaff. Maybe you're not but his bobbled snap wasn't the only reason we lost. No need to excuse the mistake it is what it is. Terry Glenn fumbled, defense failed and let Seattle go right down and score. Romo put us in position to win that game but everyone even when defending him always refer to the bobbled snap.

There was a botched attempt to end a game against Washington earlier that year. Special teams were an adventure that year. It would have helped if Romo didn't receive a greased pig before the kick attempt at Seattle.

There was instant replay and Witten did get the first down. Replay overturned the spot even though they had now angle that showed that he was short. The NFL later admitted that the first down should not have been overturned. That blown call always bothered me worese than the fumbled snap. The Seahawks would have had 1:45 to get into field goal range and most likely would have won the game anyway (our defense was really bad in those situations). We needed that first down to run out the clock and maybe even get the TD that most likely would have sealed the win.

Yes. Again, myself never liked the idea of our starting qb also doing extra duties in special teams, even before that playoff game. Just my view.

Manziel is misunderstood? Or falsely accused? Or better than he has looked on the field? What widely held opinion are people wrong about? That's an honest question,,,, I've never held the memorabilia signing thing against him, but I do have serious doubts about his ability to succeed at the pro level.
