but when you say you want to be a leader that's something else too!
True. I forgot he said that, to be honest. Maybe he doesn't understand what it means. In any case, they don't need him to lead in anything but QB pressures and sacks.

I watched a video of Norm Hitzges talking about Micah and him not being a leader. He started off about Micah saying he wanted to be more of a leader and he met up with former NFL greats to get help.

It was mentioned how he did all this talking but he's the same one that doesn't workout with the team in the summer, and how he has his own agenda. ..

Talented player leader not so much................

can't be a leader when you're busting it up with other teams players, I don't like that but hey it's not about me it's about what his teammates think
The counter argument to that is 'who cares if his team-mates like him', indeed one of the on-field issues is that we're too passive.

Just look at the improvement in Eagles game. I always take Pass-Rush as individuals acting like a pack.....Overshown doesn't get that space without Parsons. I don't care if they're best friends, or not, I bet Overshown increases his effort with Micah there....its that pushing yourself to emulate the best.

Nah he does not have leadership qualities at all at the moment. Doesn’t mean he will not obtain it though. People got to stop thinking just because he is the best player on the team, that he has to be a/the leader. Not everybody is meant to play the leader role and you can’t force them too.

Nah, they need him to commit fully to being a champion. His mindset is toxic at this point. He's looking like the next guy to get all time money who then checks out for the rest of his career.

If he doesn't have them now, then he will never be a leader. Leaders are born. You cannot simply become a leader if you weren't born that way anymore than you can get taller just because you change your mind.

No, he is not a leader and that is not necessarily a bad thing. Just because he is a star player doesn't mean he has to be a leader. But someone has to step up and be a leader. Usually the guys with leadership skills do emerge.
IMHO it is pretty tough if your highest paid guys are not the ones setting the tone. By default they do. D Flaw has been setting the defensive tone for years.

Don’t need him to be a leader. Just make plays. The whole leader thing is over rated. Make plays is the job
