Has Morris Claiborne already played his last game in Dallas?

Can you guarantee me that the Cowboys will grab Vernon Hargreaves in the draft next April/May?
If the answer is no, then Claiborne needs to stay.

Can we also guarantee Hargreaves will pan out? Think MO should return on a cheap deal.

Take your emotions out of it people.

If you can get him back for a cheap one to two year deal I absolutely do it. When he healthy he was our best corner and actually played pretty well this year save for the turnovers.

Also, think of this: He's been better this year than Byron, a first round pick, at CB. You'll be lucky to have a first round CB come in and play better than Claiborne did this year.

You can't just throw the baby out with the bathwater all over this team.

Just like Mike Jenkins was head and shoulders the best CB on this team Claiborne's rookie year, and they promptly showed him the door at season's end. Take the trash out, there will be dozens of "Claibornes" to choose from in the pool of undrafted players in May.

If he comes cheap, then bring him back. Don't overpay.

Talk about wasted draft picks and who we could have gotten instead.

Had a low wonderlich, and didn't study film.
You'd expect him to learn slowly, but Henderson hasn't helped much. Throw in the injuries, and he's a first round bust. He's been overpaid, but it wasn't my money.

Objectively, he's been average at best, but he still has upside. The speed and complexity of the NFL game, the loss of some of his physical skills due to injury, and the resultant public negativity will hurt the confidence of a young CB, which is not good for that position.

I'd say he can continue to grow under a new coach, either here or elsewhere. Forget the excessive contract; that's over.

But if Henderson isn't gone, then Mo needs to be.

Hes better than the replacement level player and is already in the system. To not discuss bringing him back would be flat out stupid.

it's all about what he would want...give him the murray treatment (not the same dollars, of course)...if he wants to play for dallas at a rate lower than what he can get in FA, then he stays a Cowboy...otherwise, if Chippy is still in philly, he ends up there

He's not a starter. As a depth guy on a friendly deal, I'm fine with him being retained.

Either way, a bust. We don't have a good history of drafting CB's.
