Has your opinion of Drew changed?

Last year Bledsoe connected with 3 TDs in a game with Campbell. We all know his success with Ben Coates. Jason Witten hasn't showed me that much yet. Please name his biggest play of the season.

Bledsoe threw 3 TDs to Campbell?

That is impressive since they weren't on the same team.

Oh, and I'd educate you on Jason Witten but I think it would be hopeless.

He threw 3 to Mark Campbell, the Bills LESSER Campbell.

I think Witten's play as a receiver this year has been limited due to helping Torrin Tucker. Cold Pizza mentioned a blurb on this a couple of weeks back-he's blocking alot more than going out into the field b/c of Flo's injury.

Frankly-Parcells needs to consider turning Witten loose in the open field alot more, regardless of Tucker, 'cuz it may very well loosen up the opposing D.

So is this guy saying Mark Campbell is a better TE than Jason Witten?

Vinny Testaverde could find Jason Witten. Wonder why super QB can't?

[/sarcasm off]

Witten will end up with about 800 yards receiving. That's still impressive for a tight end, especially considering his QB assumes the fetal position under heavy pressure when most would be looking for the tight end.

Sarcasm what? Due to Flo's injury, Witten has been forced to help out Tucker alot more. He used to go out like 90% of the time, now it's only like 50%.

*sigh* Why do people love to throw stones?

I don't want a single living breathing thinking soul to assume I like Vinny over Bledsoe. Therefore I made sure to say I was being sarcastic.

Clear as mud?

Note: for clutch QBs - this is assuming they all have a solid O-Line. If a team doesn't have a solid O-Line there will be no regular clutch performances by the QB.

Do you believe the QB plays any role at all in neutralizing defensive pressure, or do you think the OL bears total responsibility?

Are there some QB's out there that defenses blitz less frequently, or do defenses just blitz the teams with poor offensive lines?

Can a QB audible out and put 5 receivers in the pattern when he recognizes blitz, and rely on himself and his receivers to make quick decisions? In a blitz situation, all of those players should be single-covered, and shouldn't a good QB be able to beat that most of the time, if he can recognize it?

Is there a stat that shows year-to-year how often individual QB's get blitzed? I think this would be interesting, and may give us a little more insight into Bledsoe and the Cowboys poor offensive line.

How dare you imply the Offensive Line could ever be responsible for ANY shortcoming on this team? We all know the poor passing is due to Bledsoe, the poor running is due to Parcells and the poor receiving is due to the relative position of Jupiter and Saturn.

Yes it's under ESPN splits. Earlier in the year Drew had a QB rating of 107 during the Blitz. Note that Flozell hadn't missed a start since late 1998, back around Drew's "broken finger" wins vs. Miami and Buffalo.

No, not the passer rating against the blitz. That doesn't even begin to tell the story. You should know that by now, I'm sure you've been told.

How often that QB gets blitzed and complete results.

Which of the four combinations are you:

1) You liked Drew before and you still do
2) You didn't like Drew before and you still don't
3) You liked Drew before but you don't now
4) You didn't like Drew before but you do now.

How about this:
I had questions about Drew from the Beginning.. you bet I got em now.

I had questions like:
Why do they want a Mini-Vinnie? Check the stats folks... he's only got the younger part down. Stats were about the same as the fall unfolded.

Why a QB that had been with BP? .... clues BP.. he's older now.. He was in his prime then. Rarely do they return to former star status.

-OR-

Bledsoe needs pocket protection so why are The Boyz trying to get him seeing don't have an OL to contend with this kind of QB?... maybe in the next couple of years...

Now a question to you Summer. Would you rather have a QB that has respectable numbers or would you rather have a QB that can raise his playing level and make clutch throws?

I would rather have the QB who can raise his playing level and make clutch throws, but...

that isn't Bledsoe, so I'm resigned to the fact that all Bledsoe is going to give us, is respectable #s, and that's all I'm expecting, and the hand-wringing and soul-searching, asking when is Bledsoe ever going to get rid of the ball sooner, make smart decisions all the time, side-step the rush, blah blah blah, they're not worth asking, cuz that isn't Bledsoe, he needs a great team, and Oline surrounding him

Drew had Game winning drives at SD, NYG and at SF. He also led them to 1st and goal at the 6 vs. Oakland but the play broke down, Glenn dropped it and Drew missed Witten. And Witten at that point in all his whining and temper tantruming is the reason Drew doesn't like Witten. After last weeks drop for Witten in Drive 1, I'm not so sure Witten isn't overrated.

c'mon, asking if the players surrounding Bledsoe, are overrated, because your boy wonder is struggling, that's just wrong man

I know you like Drew, me too, but c'mon man
