Sorry, but John Clayton's next piece of insightful Cowboys news will be his first.

They're a team he doesn't know anything about as he has no inside sources in Dallas.

He barely knows the team is in Texas.

Want to know about the Seahawks? Clayton's your man. And he's got some sources for other teams as well.

But not the Cowboys.

Nice that he didn't buy into the 'National Enquirer' stuff ESPN was going for, but he knows less about the Cowboys than any of us do.

I saw (but didn't hear) the piece on Roy Williams and if he just lost 30 lbs, he must have been obese. Because for a guy who was doing some intensive training, he was still chubby.

To work out that hard and still be that round, his diet must be terrible.

Unless that video was shot before he lost weight.....

both have R.W. at 225 so roy would be at 195 if he did lose 30lbs!

I don't know that those are official weights or not; players' weight changes throughout the season so they would have to update for every player every week.

I agree, Roy has never been a problem guy. My gripe w/ Roy is that he just doesn't have that edge he used to have. He doesn't provoke the fear he used to. He just doesn't seem like the old Roy.

And say what he wants about the system not fitting him, he was starting to lose that UMPH before the switch to the 3-4... It's him, it's IN him where the problem is. I love the Cowboys and no one guy should be bigger than the team. If he can't cover and is a deemed a liablity then sorry, but bye.

Clayton is cool, he just pissed me off to no end when he kept speculating every available QB going to Dallas, most notably Tim Couch, I swear, he was pimping that idea for 2 years straight a few back

1. 32 lbs from what weight? His listed weight or what he problay ballooned up to last year?

2. We heard the same thing last year. I think it was 15 lbs last off season. We saw how much that helped. I saw the NFL Live thing and if he lost 32 lbs it sure didnt look like it.

I wasnt a fan until Salsbury just repeatedly verbaly abused that guy.

He seems level headed and gets really good info.

Seriously. If Sean 'look at my cellphone' Salisbury hates you, you are A-OK with me.

I think that was just a bit. They did the inside the huddle on saturday show together for a couple of years and salisbury was actually calm and informative on the radio.

The two of them actually made a pretty good show. Nothing like what was on nfl live and sportscenter. That whole thing is phony, just like most of the crap they pull on sportscenter. Just another shout show.

I dont know, I really think Salisbury is the bullheaded prick he portrays on TV. He had a short lived radio show here in Chicago (Im talking 3 months, tops) with Tim Waddle and he was the same jerk that he was on ESPN.

A buddy of mine was telling me about that - surprised I never saw it mentioned here.

I saw it when it first aired and was going to post something about it, but just figured it'd get hi-jacked by all the haters.

I hope getting trimmed down can return him to his old form.

Does anyone have a link or anything to this piece?

Im shocked DCfanatic doesnt have it.

If Roy could play to his capabilities we would easily have the best defense in the league next year.

I just think everyone has lost hope in us ever getting the guy we had for 3 years back.
