Have Cowboy and Red Skins ever Eaten Crow?

I would use a French recipe since they have had to eat more crow than most others and will have perfected the recipe by now.

Since crow is a dark meat like dove, I would stuff it with sliced garlic, a French cultivar like Germinador or Rose du Lautrec or even Thermadrone; wrap bacon around it to overcome the wildness and roast at 325. I would do a pilaf with wild and brown Jasmine rice, serve asparagus with hollandaise and a cheap bottle of Cold Duck - why embarrass a good wine?

Um, actually, I would chicken fry that sucker and eat it with French fries, onion rings and much beer - and grocery store garlic.

Well, OK, I wouldn't eat it at all, I would contribute it to the local food pantry, call it exotic game and take a big tax deduction for a charitable contribution. :)

I'll keep that recipe in mind ...should I need it again.

maybe if the eagles actually win a divisional game this year instead of going 0-6 again, then i'll give them credit

That's fair enough ...I'll do the same if the Cowboys make the playoffs.

Depends. My friends that are Skins fans usually don't go online for Skins talk. I've seen them begrudgingly "eat crow" although it's usually countered by "you guys were lucky" and "we are going to be so awesome next season."

But the Skins fans that I come across online I can't recall any of them eating crow. I remember when Spurrier came into the league and I showed them why his offense wouldn't work in the NFL and even afterwards I never heard them say "gee Rich, you were right."

For over the last 5 years, every time the Cowboys beat the Skins the usual excuse was to blame the referees or "bad luck."

Not to say that Cowboys fans are completely different. But from what I've seen we've given them their due for sweeping us last year.

Of course, we still bring the "wait till next year!" mantra. :)

Rich.........

And if the Eagles finish out of the playoffs, I assume Phoenix Talon, you will come here and eat crow, right?

How will Philly go about competeting?

Worst running game in the division

Worst receiving core in the division

Worst LB core in the division

A coach who cant handle pressure

I've asked myself the same series of questions! However, I've got some answers...

...With the worst running game in the division ... establish an OL that is conducive with a running attack (e.g., cutback blocking with huge a OL), and create a running game using some bigger backs blocking for the likes of Westbrook and Moats); oops ...did that!

...With the worst receiving core in the division ... bring back receivers who have been running routes together at least one-year in lieu of someone who needs to learn the playbooks, is overpaid, and it's uncertain if the receiver(s) will gel with teammates or not (remember, we are talking abOut the "division" and not necessarily the CoWBoys). Run the two TE routes, mix it up with soMe screens and some timing passes and once In a while open it up to the flat for either a veteran named Pinkston (not across the middle); and if over the middle does become necessary, specialize with someone who Is Proven ...Gaffney)

...With the worst LB core in the division ...There has been a lot of talk about the improvement in the Eagles defensive line that we will see in 2006, with the addition of Howard & Bunkley; the return to health of Walker and McDougle; the great potential of Cole; and not to mention the Freak (Kearse).

...A coach who cant handle pressure ...Speaking of Eagle Coaching Staff...

PETE JENKINS - DL COACH FOR 23 YEARS (GAME CUTS, DRILL CUTS, COACHING POINTS) ...overall, he's coached 14 seasons at LSU where he tutored All-Pros Leonard Marshall (NY Giants) and Henry Thomas (Minnesota, Detroit, New England). During his stay with the Tigers, Jenkins helped lead LSU to three Southeastern Conference titles and to three appearances in the Sugar Bowl. Jenkins also coached 18 Tigers to All-SEC honors and 29 of his former players have advanced into professional football.

Juan Castillo, our current O-Line coach freely admits he didn't become the teacher/coach he currently is until after he met and learned from Pete Jenkins. We all think the world of Juan, now we have Juan's "football teacher" coaching our defensive line. "Wow".

Tommy Brasher has been with us since the beginning and now we have "The Teacher of Defensive Line" skills working with our guys. If you think 2004 and earlier, were good defensive years, Jenkins will have these guys learning more techniques and fundamentals than they ever have had before.

While we appreciate your concern =============> but you have nothing to worry about ...the Eagles will not disappoint you! We're ready to compete!

Well done PT.:)

Were I you, I also might mention a healthy Donovan McNabb, who has made the Cowboys look bad on a number of occasions in the past. I, for one, will not make too many predictions where crow would move on to my menu. I'll wait until the 'product' is a bit more proven on the field.

Appreciate the recognition lspain1. But the one thing I like best about McNabb's return to health is that we now have a half-way decent backup should McNabb experience any difficulties. Garcia is not a bad QB, especially because he's a starter playing backup. He could even give McNabb a rest for the more important games like in October against the Cowboys.

Understand your Position also ...let's wait and see what develops.

The crow I ate one time, BIG TIME, was when I was at a bar before that game against your stinking Eagles, when it was hotter then hell at Texas Stadium and your stinking team whipped up on the Cowboys! If I remember correctly, it was the game when Fatso called the onside kick to open the game?

That was a bad day. I didn't even want to watch the rest of the season after that game
