We already have pass rushers on this team...we just need to utilize them.

Also, this draft is pretty deep in pass rushers and OLB/DE tweeners.

But I do agree that utilizing (Menken just hated words with -ize suffixes) our pass rushers is the key.

Zimmer last year, through the urging and behests of Man boobs, used a containment strategy last year. that cut down on our ability to get to the QB.
I feel that, WP, though not the person I envisioned (hoped for) at HC, can and will utilize the rushers that we have.
But hoping for immediate help from the draft is pie in the sky, because we are not drafting high. (I am a poet and don't know it.)

Even though I'm not a fan of Wade Phillips he has been able to "create" pass-rushers.

I'm anxious to see if any of our guys outside of Ware can take it to the next level and reach double digit sacks.

I have hope for Ellis, even after being injured.

I think Bobby C. and Burnett both offer intriguing potential.

The bottom line is that if you spend 1-2 decades trying to find a great Pass rusher from dE or LB, you will end up with a crapload of guys who play the same position, guys you are still paying huge bucks to, and you'll end up with a sorry team by the time you finally find that guy.

We've spent enough draft picks and money looking for Charles Haley....forget it. At this point, we'd be idiots to spend another top draft pick on LB or DE since we currently have 4 first round draft picks at De and LB, along with plenty of other 2,3,4 picks....If we spent another top pick on OLB or DE this year, I'd scream.
