Do you think that fans whining about something has any bearing on what Parcells does? Does he listen to them quite a bit? Does he call you for your opinion? Don't flatter yourself. He could care less what fans think. As far as the Jerry conspiracy theory and I am sure BP would say "****" if Jerry told him to play Henson too.

I love people who decide from one half of a game that Henson is terrible. How do you expect a rookie to look?

Amazingly, Romo didn't stay #2 either. He was #3 to finish the season.

I agree with part of this. I would send a QB to NFLE every year, but never 2 years in a row. Between NFLE and the Practice Squad I would be constantly trying to have a QB crop. Sort of like the Minor Leagues for pitchers in baseball. Keep the best 3 guys on the 53 man roster and 1 on the PS at all times.

That makes a whole hell of a lot of sense.

What Talent? how can you know what he has? If your basing it on his college career then you are misguided. because what I saw this preseason and the few times he played last year I'd say he's at best a third string QB. So how can you or anyone of us say he has more or less talent as Romo, or anyother QB we haven't seen play since preseason?

Do I think Henson is gone? Yes I do. JJ has a habit of wanting to make something out of nothing see hutch and now Henson and I think he's finally seeing the light. And I hope this is his last venture into turning wanna be baseball players into QB's. If either one of them truly loved FB then they never would have chose BB over it and in doing so they ruined any hope of ever having a meaningful FB career. IMO!

I just get so tired of all the HENSON HOMERS who base everything off college how many players drafted in the top two rounds are busts each year? now look at henson he missed over 2 years of playing, studing, and practicing FB, and yet you will say give him time if it where any other player most would be saying get him out of here.

Not to mention he's held in less high regard than Vince Young,Reggie McNeal,Paul Pinegar and probably Chris Leak too. If all of those guys get drafted higher than the 6th round where Houston drafted Henson, that will prove it.

No it won't, because Henson was playing another professional sport. If he had played football like they will have he would not have been a 6th rounder.

And I get tired of people ready to give up on a player if he doesn't show anything RIGHTNOW. People were ready to cut Barber this offseason. Bradie James took until his third year to show much. They took awhile to develop and they had been actively playing at major college programs. It isn't going to happen overnight and anyone that thinks it will is fooling themselves.

Your third QB should be a young guy who doesn't make much with some potential. I think that describes Henson. He had a rough camp this year by all accounts. He had a great camp the year before that. What happened? Who knows? But I am still willing to give a guy who has been away from the game awhile at least that three year window. BP and Landry both go by it.

Read between some of the lines. Henson has become pretty tight with Bledsoe. Maybe he is a smart guy and just figured he should soak things up from the vet. Maybe BP whispered in his ear to become his shadow. How often do you see #7 hovering in the background behind BP and Payton?

IMO, he is a smart kid with some upside who has been away from the game. Still a young guy. Doesn't make squat. Send him to Europe, get him some conditioning.

I've watched Long. He was OK at I-AA, but so were tons of others. I don't think he even went to a camp. If Dallas wants another I-AA QB, I'd look at Ochs myself.

He was a crap shoot, an investment that we hoped would pay dividends. Perhaps he will - only time will tell.

Well when BP and JJ signed Bledsoe THAT is in FACT what BP is saying. Live and Die with Bledsoe, this year and prob next and maybe a 3rd. I doubt the 3rd but I see next year for sure.

How can any of us truly have a worthwhile opinion on Henson until the damn guy actually PLAYS.....seriously.

I have no idea if Henson is any good or not. I am just curious as to how so many draw adamant conclusions about the guy without actually seeing him play hardly at all in REAL games.

I dunno, maybe it's just me but I'd like to actually see the guy play before I can get a handle on it one way or the other.

The fact that he isn't playing yet? Does that mean anything? Perhaps. Perhaps not, but either way, it's conjecture IMO/FWIW.

A guy like Henson I would have sent 3 years in a row so he doesn't lose anything sitting behind Drew et al for a couple of years.

I know you are risking injury but anytime a guy plays that is a risk and he ultimately needs to play.

The issues he seems to have can be corrected with PT I believe. I'm just not sure I give him the time he needs as the QB of an NFL team. He needs to be well on the way to correcting them via NFLE or elsewhere.

I can't go as far as best since Staubach but I still believe he will be very good. A "little bird" I talk to now and then agrees.
