IF someone wanted to talk about the offense I would be all smiles. But listening to you guys talk year in and year out about how the defense is going to miraculously be all world is getting increasingly annoying. Any FA scrub that comes in here is the answer. Any rookie is the answer. And suspension we will be fine once they come back. Irvin was the new craze until he got suspended, now he wont matter. Yada yada yada.
Go ahead, put a good argument why the pass rush will improve without laughing at yourself. Just accept facts. We didnt solve the pass rush this year. Its IMPOSSIBLE to solve it in one year. And when you continue to whiff on guys like Gregory, Lawrence, ect...ect.... it makes it even harder. Taco is the new reach. I see him as a LDE. Could be solid down the line. The Tapper hope is even more of a long shot. We helped the secondary, but probably wont see it THIS year.
We arent winning the SB this year, just forget it. Defense isnt good enough. But we can improve and do some damage. Do yourself a favor and accept the team for what it is. Incredible offense, average at best defense, and a bad head coach. That wont win you many championships.
Atlanta, that already had a 15 sack 2nd year DE picked another one in the first round. The guy WE wanted. Now that is how you solve a pass rush. Not by drafting RB's with the 4th pick in the draft.
