Tank should be the 5-tech DE and Micah at left edge OLB on base downs and then on passing downs you have Micah-Tank-Osa or Gallimore-Gregory all rushing the passer
Yup. You know best lolYes. We are dumb enough to let inferior players like Lawrence and Gregory minimize Micah's opportunities to rush the passer.
And I'm saying this because it could take opportunities away from Parsons being at the line of scrimmage as an edge rusher. I think Parsons is so dominate at the LOS that he may end up there permanently next year if Lawrence becomes a cap casualty. Right now once Gregory returns it will be him and Lawrence at D-end so you'll see a lot of Parsons at LB and most likely be blitzing between the tackles and I don't like that nearly as much as when he's on the edge dominating the tackle one on one.
I hereby nominate this Dumbest Thread of the Year. Vote early and vote often. Competition could be stiff though.
Thanks man, that's a pet peeve of mine too.Do you want to optimize the pass rush or do you want to optimize the defense?
And are we still using "dominate" as an adjective? I thought that came and went 15 years ago.
I honestly believe this is pretty close to the truth. It's not that they all necessary want to *****, but I think some people just try really hard to think of different angles to start threads about.I swear, we have people that apparently do nothing but sit around and think about stuff to ***** about.
Nooooooo.....it will allow him to roam free....it will make him betterAnd I'm saying this because it could take opportunities away from Parsons being at the line of scrimmage as an edge rusher. Oh brother! I hope you're joking.....if not......never mind.....Remember Gregory fans don’t like sacks. They like pressures.
