Having Tyron Smith back in the lineup is huge, Dez not needed

We have to think at this point how much salary cap we can shed to add a good consistent WR, keep adding to defense, and maybe add some OL depth.

Romo and Dez are the two most obvious positions we have to look at. We demolished one of the NFL best defenses with $40 million in cap space wasting away on the bench. Completely wasted. I knew not having them wouldn't matter with Dak leading the charge.

Anyway, what changes can we make to have a good sustainable dynasty for the forseeable future. This is not a time to revert to our old losing ways, but rather think of how we can make this even better. Any good thoughts from anyone?

Stop... Please do us all a favor and just stop...

All you do is dog our players for some strange agenda. You are quickly becoming the laughing stock of the board.

We beg of you to stop
What are your thoughts on the situatuon? I really think we have something special going here.

this team should seriously think about getting rid of Romo this offseason to save....as for Dez....i wouldnt be to big in a hurry (yet) to run him. i do like how Butler has stepped up in Dez's absence.

Any good numbers gurus know how much we could save in 2017, 2018, etc... To keep improving the roster?

I like Romo and Dez. Dez makes us better.

If Dak is the future then why not build around him now. He is moving the ball very well on offense so not much to do on that side but would love to build this defense even better. Too add a Watt or Donald type player on this defense would be huge not to mention a LB like Jaylon can be if healthy.

We didn't give Romo the defense he deserved let's not make the same mistake with Dak

I think Leary has made a huge difference in the run game.
Zeke has his most yardage on the season with Collins not Leary. That being said Leary and Collins both are good and a luxury teams don't have

My thought? Is Dez makes this team better. Don't be foolish to think otherwise. Dez didn't plan on cracking a bone in his knee. You will see the Dez we all love here very shortly
I hope you are right. I just can't help but wonder if it even matters or if that money can be spent on someone more consistent and less injury prone.

I agree with the other poster. OL looks better with Leary in there. Down the road, who knows, but Collins injury isn't that big of a deal IMO other than hurting depth.

T-dub and Butler were both impressive.

When our run blocking is that dominate a lead WR is not needed. However as the season goes on and we meet our match in the trenches, Dez will be the X factor to get us moving the chains.

You don't improve the roster by getting rid of your best players. Luckily, the people in charge know that.
