True, but there will still be 10 - 20 thousand awful eagles fans at the game. Last time I went to a home game against philly, there were several hundred of those nasty fans in end zone seats chanting "Dallas Sucks" for a good 10 minutes before kickoff. Thank God the Cowboys whooped their butts in that game, because that shut them all up. I don't think I would ever go to another game against the eagles, I just cannot stand their fanbase. The majority of them are truly nasty people.
There's NEVER been a game against Philly where I thought, "dang, there's a lot of eagles fans here." Gb, chicago, steelers, and the ONE 49ers game...Yes. Philly? Never.

Guess I was just lucky, lol. The game I went to was the season after philly went to the SB, but before the blowup with T.O. Their fans were feeling pretty good about themselves, so maybe that's why there was so many of them at our stadium that year.

I'm really excited to be heading to the Philly game this weekend. I've been wondering if there are some good tailgates to attend or something else that has worked out well for other fans. I've only been to one other game at the stadium and we didn't end up tailgating that one as it ended up being pretty cold ( Tampa 2016). I think we are gonna try and hang out around the stadium before the game if we can figure out a good game plan. I'd love to hear what all of you have done prior to games you've attended in the past.

Make sure you get out by half time to miss the traffic. Once its 27-3 it will be time to jet.

Oh, well that explains it. Lol. I thought this was in the last like 6,7 years you were talking about. Nevermind.

To bring some brass knuckles or a gun along with you is quite possibly helpful advice.

The punks and thugs that routinely prey upon visitors there can make things exciting.

where are there thugs and punks? The tailgaters on collins street are annoying but I dont know about thugs or punks.

and its illegal to have a weapon on the grounds of the stadium which includes the parking lot. Thankfully.

I would say this is one of the best stadiums to go to as a visitor because you are treated well.

Dallas killed Philly that day. That is the day parcells let payton really run his gameplan and be aggressive. It was a blowout Dallas win.

What's annoying about people having fun?

I try to take my son every year. Last year I took the whole family and we had a blast. Few things make a father smile bigger than thier 7 year old little girl cheering on the team lol.

This year I waited because I refused to buy tickets with this Zeke bull crap going on. Im pretty sure we will sit this one out.

Ive always been on the economy plan (firefighters salary) but we park off site a quarter mile or so and avoid the traffic. The funny thing is Ive always enjoyed the walk. Man its just a huge party. My wife always thought I was crazy but when we got closer to the stadium she learned crazy lol.

I honestly think youd be welcomed by most fellow Cowboy fan tail gaters, just BYOB and a smile.

Best of luck to you. It would be amazing to pull off a win and be able to boast to the Phillthy trash lol.

Me and my daughter going to the Skins game, parking off site sounds like good advice.

Yes you can find decent parking for 25- 35.00 or so. Walk half a mile or maybe a bit more but its not bad at all.

I've heard more horror stories on this website than I could count on both hands about exactly what I've described previously. They were all in stark contrast as to what you've posted here. What you're saying is but one description as compared to many that conflict with yours. If you were me, I think you may have responded to that inquiry in the same manner that I and many others here have in both the present and past.

Punks and thugs don't necessarily need to carry weapons to cause trouble but they can also be concealed. What one other poster previously indicated here is that he was cut by a perfect stranger with no warning in a crowd well within the stadium grounds. It was close to the concessions, as I recall. Others have stated similar incidents on this website that weren't any more pleasant to read.

Yet others described families members, including even women and children, that were treated harshly and abused physically by some in attendance from the home crowd. What many members have read here don't make it sound like It's one of the best stadiums for visitors to attend at all but conversely, one of the very worst. Sorry if you don't like hearing that.

Actually, the OP headline sounded like the game was in Philly, rather than in Dallas.

Maybe that's why Theebs reacted as he did. Oops. Sorry 'bout that. :(

Just to be clear you are talking about at&t stadium or in philly?

It is impossible for someone to have brought a knife inside the gates here. We go through metal detectors and they check everything. So someone is lying to you.

My apologies to you, Theebs, and to the Dallas fans as well. I mistakenly thought the game was in Philly, as I misread the OP headline. Color my face red. It'd be nice if I could make it go away unnoticed, but alas . . .

As I stated in my preceding post, I thought it was in Philly due to misreading the OP headline.

Sorry, it was an honest mistake but a pretty bad one. Mea culpa, y'all. All that BS for nothing!

Sigh . . . (slinking away slowly)
