As I stated in my preceding post, I thought it was in Philly due to misreading the OP headline.

Sorry, it was an honest mistake but a pretty bad one. Mea culpa, y'all. All that BS for nothing!

Sigh . . . (slinking away slowly)

No big deal. Somebody got shot and killed on Collins street after the pats game so it’s not fully safe, it their are cops everywhere.

The Linc is not nearly as bad as the Vet with all those 700 level loonies. You will hear chants of "Dallas Sucks" but that is just part of the landscape there. I still advise fellow fans not to wear Dallas gear unless you're going to be in a luxury box.

Sorry for the confusion, but yes I am going to the game in Dallas not Philly.

But as a side note, I had to go and work on the Pats, Giants, Skins and Philly stadiums not too long ago and the eags have by far the worst. It has a homely small feel I guess.... in a not great part of town. I wouldn't go to a game in Philly, but I would at any of the other stadiums I mentioned. I bet the skins parking lots can get a little wild from the layout I saw.

Its not that bad of a part of Philly. Its a working class Italian neighborhood. Sure as hell beats going to see a Temple basketball game.

Could be very true, i didn't get the true lay of the land. It was interesting to me how the workers in the Philly stadium had by far the most laid back approach compared to the other aforementioned stadiums.

I went to a Philly game once there. It was to see my Mets though :muttley:

I wore my Piazza jersey which was a mistake. I can take heckling and such but some crossed the line. I will never go see the Boys play there

I do not like that city at all. It is old, run down and trashy. Sure, there might be some decent areas but not for me. If I had to live there, I would need to be at least 100 miles outside it :lmao2:

Bring a cooler full of beer, get food......maybe grill something. Talk to people and have fun. Oh, don't forget to buy some cowboy boots and a hat.....they will never know you are Canadian :flagwave:

I hope to see you and others from the board around on Sunday. I think we are gonna pick up some beverages and meander our way around the parking lot and stadium before hand. I believe it will be a great environment, especially since it is a SNF.

Thats pretty much it. Walk around, talk to people and anjoy the atmosphere. We were there for a Steelers game a few years back. The group next to us in the stadium parking lot were Steelers fans. We started chatting up with them, shared a few brews and later found out they were from Albuquerque too. Small world.

I wouldn’t wear any Cowboys gear in Philly unless you are rolling about 10 deep...

No kidding

True story............I have a college buddy from my UT days that got a job in Philly. He is a Cowboys super fan, I mean he even paints his face blue and silver on game days. Anyways, he had a Cowboys antennae ball on his car and to make a long story short, it got vandalized bad. We are talking tires slashed, headlights broken out, spray paint all over the sides of the car, just totally jacked up.

So yea, its not a good idea to be walking or driving around Philly advertising that you are a Cowboys fan...................don't do it.
