Hear Peyton repeat that same phrase?

Tendensies.

He used that word over and over. 12 weeks of tendencies on film. The Cowboys defensive scheme is flawed when they rush the OLB's. Especially to the weak side.

The Saints had a whole new game plan on offense and the Cowboys didn't have a clue what to do about it. Suck'em up and exploit the safeties in one on one matchups. They didn't show any past tendencies.

blah.

the guy is so brilliant how come he lost 1 game this year nevermind 4.

the only tendancy of importance is how lame many cowboy fans are after a loss.

As brilliant as Sean Payton is, he can't reverse turnovers unfortunately. Saints are -6 on the year for giveaway/takeaways as the cowboys are +7. If you look at the games we lost, we had negative turnover ratios in those games. If the T/O ratio is even, I don't see how the Saints can lose.

It's easier for people to think we suck and the whole coaching staff should be canned and every player cut, than think about the LOGICAL fact that Sean Payton and Gary Gibbs spent THREE YEARS watching our schemes, our players, our COACHES EVERY DAY. And that they are now coaching a team with talented players that can execute. But you know, never mind that... we suck and we should move the franchise to Los Angeles or Sacramento.

Payton knew our defensive tendencies and exploited them all game long. What's the big surprise here? Why the shock? He probably used to run circles around Zimmer in practice when he was OC here.

You asked for an answer of why the Saints lost 4 games and I responded. It's amazing that a team with a -6 turnover ratio is 2nd in thier conference at this point in the season, that shows Paytons true brilliance. Guess you just know everything about the Saints. I'm sure you expected to get fully dominated Sunday and i'm sure the Saints don't have a chance vs. a true playoff team.

One thing that I've learned in 31 years of being a Die Hard Cowboys fan is that the Super Bowl isn't won in December.

So don't think that everything is perfect over there in swamp land, cause in the end, the ones who don't win the super bowl are losers. Their's no guarantee you're going to be the same great team next year, not in this day of Free Agency and parity.

Yeah, it's too bad we didn't know either Payton's or Gibbs' tendencies when they were pretty much taught by our coaching staff and we saw their tendencies everyday in practice for three years.

Why does this argument work one way, but never the other way?

Must be one of those rose colored glasses guys eh? It's the 3rd team in a row thats attacked that weakness, and certainly not the last. They just did it the best. You're right though, it won't happen again.

Yeah right, well anyways, the Cowboys were predictable in how they reacted defensively. The Saints took big advantage. I'd still like to keep the team in Dallas. But I would like the coordinator to shake up the scheme a little........If it's ok with you.

I'm tired of figuring out what's wrong with the Dallas defense personally, Roy Williams wasn't worth that contract.... We need another young big DE/LB to go along with Ware because this defense isn't generating enough pressure on the QB at ALL!

I'm sorry sarcasm isn't in your arsenal of comprehension. I was being SARCASTIC in reaction to all the fools jumping off the ledge. and those who deny we were simply outcoached. Which is why I included the emoticon eye-roll.

maybe it's because that argument sucks?

their players executed

our's...didn't

knowing tendencies, or lack thereof, was only a part of the reason we lost

they got pressure on our QB, which masked their safeties, hell Omar Stoutmire, a Cowboy and Giant reject was playing the ball well, we didn't

their WRs were getting seperation, only Glenn was for us, thanks to our wimpy cover-2 scheme

they were beating the blitz, we weren't beating their pass-rush

they won the TOP battle, we abandoned the running game because we fell behind, and even before that

Maybe because the Saints used their FB differently than they had all year.
Maybe because the Saints threw to 3 or 4 different situational TE's like they hadn't done all year.
Maybe the Saints used an onside kick, up by 18 like they hadn't done all year because the Cowboys were sleeping on coverage.

I wish it did go both ways, but it didn't sunday. It was just obvious the Saints could almost predict what Dalas would do in alot of situations. Especially on defense. Zimmer got played all day.
