Insider's say right now that it is RG3 by a LANDSLIDE...

Hope it's true... Luck will likely be the better NFL QB, but RG3 is CLEARLY the best player on any team in the NCAA this year...

I think it is wrong for anyone else to get it. There are 2 guys on the invite list I would draft before him, but he won it.

Apparently RG3's picture is currently billboarded in Time Square, Sic Em!

RG3 has now won the O'Brien and is overwhelmingly supported by tracking on stiffarm to be the projected Heisman winner, current numbers indicate he would receive support that places him among the top 15 largest margin of votes in the Heisman's history.

Luck won the Walter Camp award though, so they are even at this point.

I think RGIII should and will win the award.

However, I think Luck will be by far the better NFL QB.

I wish I could have seen RGIII play more this season.

I have always been a huge A. Luck fan, because he is a clean cut All American kid, and because his dad played at WV, and is currently our AD.

But Richardson resembles HT winners that I have seen in the past. He makes a difference every game.

I agree. I will say I have been more impressed with RGIII this season than any other he has played. I think he would be better served to return to Baylor next season for his final year than to move up right now.

I know the allure of money is big for these kids but I think for many they would be better served with the extra year to continue to grow and mature as a player before making the big leap to the next level.

I think 4 years is sufficient for the majority of players even if one of those years is a true redshirt year. You are still getting practice reps and then if you are good you get to play for 3 years.

Griffin didn't have a true redshirt year. He got to play in 3 games in 2009 before getting injured. Going back to Baylor won't hurt him, but I think he is ready to start apprenticing for the NFL. I don't think he is ready to step in and start playing. He needs a year or two to sit behind a good veteran starter.

I think Griffin may actually already have his degree, so from that standpoint he doesn't really need to come back. The only reason I would think he would consider returning to Baylor is if he thought it would benefit him in the draft, and consequently in the pocketbook, and I don't see that as the case. Who knows, another year in college could actually hurt him if Baylor drops off as a team.

I like him I want him to have a very good NFL career and I think you give yourself a better chance by staying in school the extra year. I felt the same way with VY. Just my take, I think more times than not guys jumping in for the money end up hurting themselves in the long run.

Clearly it is his choice and I would not think less of him if he did but in my view I think you’re better off staying the full 4 years of play before moving to the NFL especially QB's.

Griffin is a better passer and decision maker than VY and has been at each step of their respective college careers. I could see where Young could have definitely used another year of school, but I think Griffin is ready. At least more ready than VY every was. Like I said, another year won't hurt him at all, but he is ready to start his transition to the pros. He is much more than Young was off the field.
