I had to go back and check his stats and yes he did lose a fumble. I wonder if there’s ever been a QB win a game after suffering 6 turnovers? It seems almost impossible.
He's definitely in select company.

This game was nowhere near romo’s 07 game against the bills

Romo was outright putrid throwing 5 picks

Daks game last night was just a soso performance with him gutting it out at the end, something you see Mahomes do and Manning and Brady did it plenty of times

A gusty win

But that 07 bills game was disgusting qb play
Romo also lost a fumble. Can anyone think of a QB who suffered six turnovers and won? That was a crazy game. Terrence Newman who was supposed to be a speedster, picked off a pass and got chased down by two players, one of which was a fullback. He had nothing but daylight in front of him and was at least 5 yards ahead of the pack with nothing but the endzone in front of him and got ran down. Nothing seemed to be going right for the Cowboys in that game until the final five minutes. The Bills attempted to freeze Nick Folk on his 53 yard game winner and called a timeout right as he kicked it and he made it, but it didn’t count. He then kicked it again and made it again to end the game. That was Folk’s career long at the time.

Romo has a great 4 to 1 TD/int ratio in the playoffs
Had last minute game-winning drive in one win
Had 2 losses where he also had should-have-been game-winning perfect passes in late 4th qtr either "dropped" (Dez) or busted route (Crayton)
He DID show up in the playoffs more often than not.
This is always omitted in the Romo-Dak comparison. Romo didn’t have OL except the NYG playoff game .

The first year Dak started he had everything ideal , Dam good OL , decent D and prime Zeke , that’s why it was criminal to lose that AR packers game because of slow start.

Everything wasn’t ideal for Dak his first year, he was taking over a 4-12 team. Zeke had a great rookie season, but it still wasn’t as good as the one DeMarco Murray had with Romo in 2014. Romo had some good OL’s early on. The OL was solid in 2007. As those players aged, it started to become an issue and we had to rebuild the OL beginning in 2011. By 2014 the OL was the best in the game.

Nah, I understand what he means. The QBs with the most comebacks going back to 2016:

Derek Carr , Matthew Stafford, Dak Prescott, Kirk Cousins and one other middling QB. Those QBs are classic Romo see-saw...win-some/lose-some. Now if you go PLAYOFFS, that's when the Montanas, Bradys, etc made their bones in comebacks. But even then...if you are playing on all cylinders - like great QBs demand - you won't need to live on the edge. The '07 Patriots were dominant and not winning by 3 points. Those 49er teams back in the day were dominant. The best teams don't rely on heroics.
Brady has the most. Manning is second. Roethlisberger third, Brees fourth. I have a serious issue saying where were they for the first 3 quarters.

They all won SBs too. Dak worse playoff record in history never won a game past the 1st round lol

Of course, any andall playoff games are more important…but

Order of importance of Dallas regular season games
  1. NFC East contender
  2. NFC East other
  3. NFC contender
  4. NFC other
  5. AFC
just sayin…..timing of the Steelers win was important, but most valuable wins for playoff are NFCgames.

As for the 2007 Buffalo game….probably the very best game to play poorly in, if you had to have one.
Somehow won anyway

Dak haters won't like this but they're the exact same player, on the exact same types of teams, with the exact same Owner/GM who keeps them from having greater success.

And for those that want to mention playoffs (see below), it's the same thing, go look it up. Dak 2-5, Romo 2-4 record.

If you hate Dak or think he sucks, then you also have to hate Romo and think he sucks too. Anything else, you're a hypocrite.

I understand that. But where were they for those first 3 quarters? See how awful that sounds? I just can’t agree with Troy’s take, because ultimately, they are ALSO the type of people he is referring to.
