I agree...
Marino never won a super bowl.I think either way. When we lose, fans look for a scapegoat, and it's often the QB because he's playing the most important position on offense. A good example of this IMO is Romo's playoff record, which is brought up to diss him as a QB. No one takes into account that he threw a perfect ball to Dez Bryant in the fourth quarter against Green Bay that Bryant didn't control through contact with the ground. (And yes, we can argue that it was a catch, but that doesn't matter.) Maybe we lose that game anyway, but Romo led a comeback, threw the ball where it needed to be and the receiver tried too hard to make a TD and lost control of it. (Same issue to an extent with Crayton dropping a perfect pass and then not taking his route in the end zone where it was expected to go against the Giants in 2007. Instead of a comeback win, you have another loss that is counted against the QB.)
I've said before that I think won-lost records are a terrible way to judge a quarterback because it makes it seem like they are solely responsible for either. You never hear any say of a running back, "He has 10,000 yards for his career, but he never made it past the divisional round of the playoffs. His won-loss record is only average."
I mean, Tyron Smith is a future Hall of Famer, but you don't hear anyone say, "but look at his won-loss record ... I don't know if he's worthy."
Having trouble figuring out if you are bashing romo, dak or what? The Romo legend lives on........good or bad......realistic and selective memories........we need to move on IMO
Anyone of age who never watched In Living Color...I never watched In Living Color.....I was too busy chasing chicks

It's not thinly veiled. This is a thinly-veiled shot at Romo and im not diggin it
Never in 8 full seasons and playoffs… it’s a first for DakI'm just happy to see Dak throw a game winner in the last minute. Can you even remember the last time he did that?
Under-achiever? Romo was a UDFA out of a directional college. Next theory?Dak is an overachiever when you look at his skill set. Romo was an underachiever. In the end they are very close as far as ability and results.
We know he meant to type ‘Cooperesque’ - I suppose you never noticed the close proximity of the ‘e’ and ‘r’ keys? Now keep working your beat, Officer Spelling.Cooperesque.........you remind me of "Oswald Bates" from " In Loving Color" that tried to use big words but constantly mangled their pronunciation and meaning .
Look it up, lol
You really do entertain us.
He never does, the 2:00 minute drill is one of the knocks against him, always comes up short,,, except last night!! Nice to see a running game out there too.I'm just happy to see Dak throw a game winner in the last minute. Can you even remember the last time he did that?
Guess which QB owns most of the team’s All-Time Passing records? I’ll give you one hint … it ISN’T Dak Prescott. The Romo legend lives on........good or bad......realistic and selective memories........we need to move on IMO
Good for Romo......neither has gone far in the playoffs....not fan of eitherGuess which QB owns most of the team’s All-Time Passing records? I’ll give you one hint … it ISN’T Dak Prescott.
This means zero. Any modern QB who plays long enough for their teams are going to hold the franchise record. Football today is totally different than back in the day. Guess which QB actually wins when it matters come playoff time? Absolutely isn't Romo. Romo threw 50 times a game often. Many times while trailing because of his own bad play.Guess which QB owns most of the team’s All-Time Passing records? I’ll give you one hint … it ISN’T Dak Prescott.
The one thing stats don't show, and the reason people are happy and surprised about last night's win is because Dak doesn't do this. On win, tie or lose final drives needing a TD, and actually getting one doesn't happen often with this team. We came to expect it from Romo.
No, he had 5 INT’s.Didn't Romo have 6 turnovers that game? I still remember what a crazy ending that game had.
