All the same arguments when Romo was QB, just being recycled

Yes, the Steelers effectively get 3 points for home field.m, which means it’s practically an even matchup.

You’re still a clown. You made it seem like this was some tremendous victory against some mighty opponent. They had Justin Fields as a QB who is just average to bad. Like I said, this was nothing compared to previous games which I mentioned where the Cowboys were actually big underdogs and came out on top.
You seem upset Dallas won and Dallas fans are happy about it.
Who's the clown?

Not sure Romo even had 16 starts at that point in his career and was probably making about 1 million bucks per year. This comparison makes zero sense to me. Like someone else said it was just nice to see him throw a game winner it feel like forever since that happened.

I've been watching the Cowboys for 30 years so I'm not just looking at stats but I do hear you that they don't tell the whole story. But having seen all the Romo years I know the story and the stats just back it up. Romo had 29 game winning drives, Dak has 23. They each have 1 playoff game winning drive.

The narrative that Dak is not good and Romo is better just isn't true. Its just the biased/hate that Dak has to deal with for whatever reason. The hate should be aimed squarely at the owner/GM for failing to put a winning roster/coaching staff together for close to 28+ years.
I agree with you on where the hate should be focused. Agree 100%. Because he is responsible for building the team. I'm really happy Dak got this one. I hope that gives him more confidence going forward. That yes, we can close out a game with a final drive. Because Dak and these Cowboys can't and don't that. they don't have a history of doing that. With Romo, you did. I'm hoping this can lead to Dak doing the same thing.

So if you guys want to be literal and not count OT or anything with more than 1 minute in regulation, how many did Romo have, like 2?
Well, 2 sounds about right. But if you go with around 2 minutes left, Romo has a few.

2006 home vs Lions. 18 seconds left down by 6, TD to Witten.
2007 @ Skins 2:42 left down by 6, TD to Clayton.
2010 home against Vikings down by 3, 34 seconds left TD to Harris.
2013 @ Skins down 6 1:08 left TD to Murray. (Drove the field with a bulging disc)
2015 @ Giants down by 4 1:02 left, TD to Bryant
2015 home against Lions playoffs. down by 3, 2:32 left TD to Williams
@ Giants down by 6, 1:29 left, drives the field, TD to Witten 8 seconds left. (dropped the snap) 27-26

Seems like he forgot Captain Comeback. Wonder how much stock he put there. Not the greatest take from Troy. You can play your butt off for the whole game and still lose(Romo vs Manning in Denver for instance), or play your butt off the whole game but don’t win it until the last drive is over(Chiefs vs Bills a few years ago in the AFC championship game).
Nah, I understand what he means. The QBs with the most comebacks going back to 2016:

Derek Carr , Matthew Stafford, Dak Prescott, Kirk Cousins and one other middling QB. Those QBs are classic Romo see-saw...win-some/lose-some. Now if you go PLAYOFFS, that's when the Montanas, Bradys, etc made their bones in comebacks. But even then...if you are playing on all cylinders - like great QBs demand - you won't need to live on the edge. The '07 Patriots were dominant and not winning by 3 points. Those 49er teams back in the day were dominant. The best teams don't rely on heroics.

I'm right, you're big mad.
I don’t what you really mean here by mad so I’ll presume the standard definition.

You’re conflating mad with what someone said, with mad with the outcome of a game. Neither are necessarily dependent on each other.

  :hammer::hammer:some of his critics wanna only about his turnovers. Nevermind he overcame the choking issue they are quick to bring up and yes I understand its only one game.
right. but would be quick to dismiss a well played game that resulted in a loss. just is what it is.

The Cowboys were underdogs and you’re still denying it. No one made it out to be some tremendous victory, that’s just something you’re dreaming up in your juvenile mind. It was a lot better victory than the one we had over Buffalo in 2007. We could afford to lose that game.
Now go waste someone else’s time you’re boring me…Zzzzzz.

I had to go back and check his stats and yes he did lose a fumble. I wonder if there’s ever been a QB win a game after suffering 6 turnovers? It seems almost impossible.
And the team gave up a kickoff return for a TD. That along with the two interception returns accounted for 21 of the Bills 24 points that Monday night. The defense allowed only one scoring drive, a FG that game in the 2nd quarter. They only allowed 229 yards of offense to the Bills. One of the craziest games ever played. Romo wasn't even sacked that game. He had a passer rating of 49.9. His QBR for that game was 73.7, which seems weird.
