AZs defense is as tough as anybodys and the giants seem to be rolling.. No such thing as easy stretches
Why hasn't anyone said 9-1?
You see us beating Seattle, At their house. Then see us losing to NY?
No, we are most likely getting our *** kicked by Seattle.
So I guess that's 2 loses in a row.
This. We may have a time period for them to get back into football shape and integrate into the defense. Just because they are back does not mean they have any real impact for some time.
Don't see us beating Seattle. And I don't want to go all out to beat Seattle. Fans can get upset. Fans can believe it does not happen....BUT....teams with a legitimate shot at the playoffs have to always keep a long range view of the season. You try to win every game. And on any given Sunday anything can happen. But we are a M*A*S*H unit on defense. And if we have guys that are at risk for re-injuring themselves...I just assume sit them against Seattle. We can try to win with the healthiest guys we have. Which is also why I am NOT in favor of trying to push Murray to break a NFL record for yards in a season. If he achieves that goal within the framework of the team doing what's in the best interest of the Cowboys making the playoffs....great. Otherwise, we need to do whatever is necessary to get him to December as fresh as possible.
We got 2 division games following the trip out to Seattle...those are the biggest games over the next 3 weeks.
Hilarious. You're prepared to question his prediction of an upset against Seattle but you take for granted his prediction of being upset by NY.
No point in trying to stay balanced when one's principal objective is to be provocative, I suppose.
If we beat Seattle, on their turf. Then we will kick NY's ***.
Agree. If Lawrence is back to play in week 9, how much playing time does he actually get. and with only 2 weeks until the bye, will they even activate him until after the bye week. Depends on how the team is playing, if they actually have a pass rush by then. But I think he gets very limited play until after the bye.
Ease him in.
For Brent, i'm hoping Okoye gets a chance first, then with Crawford at DT and doing well. That they don't need to bring in Brent. Then you have a guy coming in that needs his reps to get in football shape, but from the mental side more than the physical. I still think it's best he sits out the entire year.
Don't disrupt things if they are working, especially out of loyalty.
Wondering how effective we think Lawrence and Brent are going to be. A rookie starting in week 9 and brent coming off a year in jail sitting on his but. I am not expecting Demarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer type production. They will spell the starters but I dont expect an impact of measurable magnitude.
