Henry to Baltimore

I’ve enjoyed King Henry’s career but he wasn’t the answer for the Cowboys. He’s the same player we let walk a year ago (Zeke - who’s still available btw)
He’s better than Zeke and always has been. Thats why one has a market and the other does not. Zeke couldn’t break a long run to save his life. These guys are nothing alike.

Getting to the likes of JK Dobbins and AJ Dillon left at the RB position.

Regardless of who we take, we'll certainly have to compliment with a decent player from the draft and count on that player to significantly contribute.

It's almost as if the Jones boys know it doesn't matter if they add talent, they'll just exit early so why try. Just trot out some retreads. Win 7 or 8 games. Count the profits. Do it again next season.

unfortunately we won’t tank. We will win our usual 11-12 games and choke in the playoffs. It’s a cycle.
With a first place schedule I'm not sure we get the 11-12 wins this year

The front office is probably okay. Having Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne involved in short- and long-term decision making is the decades long central problem.

Too much for Henry. Would have preferred other guys than him at that price. The combo of age and carries makes him too risky for anything but a one year deal or two years if cheap. Not going to fault the team here. A lot of fans think they are getting a guy from "x" years ago

should’ve up the ante by a couple of bucks and got Moss, we still can get a RB in the draft, we got bigger concerns than RB, especially if we lose Gallimore and Lewis

I been saying since the season was over, get ready for that 1st round RB pick, whoever it will be.

Seems like a good fit for Baltimore on how they like to play. An over 30 year back is scary. Although, in an offense who creates a lot of confusion getting Henry in space past the DT is going to be a beast to try to plan for.

Before free agency kicked off, I was thinking Moss and Azeez could be in our price range. When some of the numbers started rolling in, it was apparent those guys would be out of Jerry's range and I needed to dial back my expectations quite a bit.

Still believe we'll see a RB and LB signed. Unfortunately, the signings may not be quite on par with Gilmore and Cooks from last year.

The Cowboys have apparently decided to lay down and die for the next two seasons, as the cruel & unusual punishment of Dak's contract continues to hemorrhage all the blood out of the football-side of the franchise. Might be able to hire a tier-one free agent in 2026?

In the meantime, they're now down at least a half-dozen starters? Priorities being DT, OT, LB & RB. Fill needs in the draft? Well...good luck with that. How many starters did Dallas harvest in the 2023 draft? (ZERO).

The Joneses must have a devilishly-ingenious plan up their collective sleeve.
