Oh...2004 again, huh?

Get lost, sucker! Go outside and look at what is happening in 2007! Better yet...just stick around and make a fool of yourself! We need the entertainment until the Cowboys come kicking that crap out of that lousey team of yours...

:laugh2:

It was in response to a post which stated "when the TO was hot with the eagles, Newman shut him down". I just proved that Newman didn't shut him down. You have the attention span of a ******** gnat.

Oh yeah, that's happened so often recently... All I hear is whining... we should have won the game against the Skins because the clock ran out and that wasn't a 15-yard penalty...

We have some good corners.....

Yes, we do. People tend to overlook this, but outside of the Bears I'm pretty hard pressed to find a team with a better top 3 CB's than Dallas right now. And the Bears have gotten a lot better pass rush than Zimmer's "engage & bore us" schemes.

This is completely contrary to all evidence on hand...

You had the 27th ranked pass D, yet you have the best top 3 corners in the league (sans Da Bears). So what went wrong?

It's not like any of them snagged a lot of INTs either...

Check your facts - 24th ranked pass defense.

Here's some trivia for ya:

Which team allowed the most TD passes in 2006?

The same one that is ranked above your pass D I bet. And also the same one that had an injury to it's top corner most of the season. What would happen if you lost Newman the entire season? Answer that.

Maybe someone else knows?

Easy we only had one threat to put pressure on the QB.

I dont care who you got back there if you give an NFL QB all day to throw your screwed.

We were the kings of bend dont break defenses and just hope the QB messes up instead of hitting him in the mouth before he ever gets the chance.

Now our philosophy is go get the QB. Will it improve our pass d? We'll see.

Answer your question firecrotch?

I knew you'd avoid my question. I'll answer yours though, Washington did. But don't go beating your chest too hard, you gave up more yards and more rushing TDs to balance it all out in the end.

Real quick IQ test. Which team is ranked better? The one ranked 23rd (washington) or 24th (Dallas)?

If points are what wins football games and a TD = 6 points, then the team that gave up the fewer number of TD's would be better - and would therefore win more games.

I guess we would have to check the respective records of said teams to verify if this theory is accurate.

Jesus, kid, lay off the trigger finger (in other words, stop clicking refresh 5 times a second). I had that up there for less than 2 seconds before I realized you were talking about pass defense and not total defense.

I don't blame teams for not throwing at you guys more. After all, they could pretty much run at will.

Answer your question firecrotch?

Yes catchvd, you had one single injury to a LB and your whole defense fell apart at the seams.

Whereas Washington loses it's top corner (Springs), top LB (washington) and top DL (griffin) and still ranks above yours in pass defense...

So what if you lose somebody who is actually considered one of your key players to injury? Like if Ware or Newman goes down.

Actually, Henry played through an injury the second half of the season.

And again, they didn't pass on you as much because they could run at will. Teams would get up early and run the ball until the cows came home. It's part of the reason Sean Taylor had so many tackles -- his front 7 couldn't do jack against the run.

Oh okay, the difference is 2 TDs between the teams' total defense. There you go, 2 TDs given up in the Cowboys' favor.

And again, is that so surprising since we lost our top playmaker at every position and you only lost your 2nd best one at LB? Why is every one avoiding this like the plague???

Typing fast has nothing to do with it. Take your ADD medicine and stop clicking refresh so many damned times.

Oh, and I type 110+ words per minute. Not to mention I can piss 20 feet against 50 MPH winds.

Boo-hoo... Henry had a little soreness. There's a large difference between not playing and playing through pain. And he's your second CB... Not even in the same ballpark as what Washington had to deal with.

Too bad there isn't medicine for terminally stupid... And I'm not the one who didn't read all the posts to get a picture of what was going on.

In all honesty, our defense was a disappointment to end the season. But I would assess more 'blame' on the poor safety play rather than poor cornerback play.

You of all people must relate to poor safety play.
