Lets say Derrick Henry and Alex Collins are both on the board in the top of the 2nd round.(assuming the Cowboys are picking in the top of each round)Who do you take? And why?

The only reason I even bring this up is I seen a mock where Henry falls to the top of the second round but the Cowboys take Collins ahead of him.

I take Henry, but I would give Collins pause. Reason being big targets tend to wear down

The Cowboys won't be picking at the top of rounds:D

I meant to post this in the draft forum. Please move it there admins.

I like both guys. Henry is the bigger and higher rated back, but I love Collins' running style. Plus. we all know how much Jerry loves Arkansas players..

Collins is my new pet cat. I love this kid's running style - true slasher with great feet

I think Collins runs funny - just does not look natural - but as long as he gets it done who cares

I take Collins every time

heres my sleeper pick

Kenyan Drake, RB, Alabama
Height: 6-1. Weight: 211.
Projected 40 Time: 4.54.
Projected Round (2016): 3-5.

11/7/15: Drake has been impressive in his return to the field, showing real speed to threaten a defense. At most schools, Drake would be the starter, but at Alabama, he's stuck as the No. 2 behind Derrick Henry. Still, Drake has averaged 4.6 yards per carry for 265 yards (58 attempts) with one touchdown. He also has 16 receptions for 181 yards and a touchdown.

8/8/15: Drake totaled 22 carries for 112 yards and four touchdowns in 2014. He also made four receptions for 149 yards and two scores. His season ended with a gruesome dislocated ankle injury that required surgery. In 2013, Drake averaged 7.5 yards per carry for 694 yards and eight touchdowns. He also caught 12 passes for 135 yards.

Henry really scares me. I like his vision and patience, but I think his lack of burst (though he has surprising top end speed) and lateral movement ability coupled with his immense size is going to lead to a lot of punishment. I think he could have 3, maybe four great season before he really breaks down. He also has a lot of mileage already. I liken him a lot to Eddie George, but George had quite a bit more shiftiness.

Henry and its not even close... Derrick Henry will be the best running back coming out of this draft class so If you want him you better get him in the 1st round because Derrick Henry won't see the 2nd round.

Btw I like Alex Collins as a player and feels he's underrated when referring to great running backs in the SEC

Elliot will go ahead of him. I seen a few mocks having Henry dropping to the top of the second. But I agree with you that if you want Henry you better take him if he is there. Depending only if its in the mid 20s of the first round.

That's a tough decision.

I tend to like Collins' punishing style of running, but Henry would be hard to pass up on too.

I like Drake too.

I think Henry presents too much to hit. RB's much above 6-1 just don't last in the NFL.

I know he want be in this draft but when he comes out would love to have Elijah Hood from UNC. Great running back, possibly better then Giovanni Bernard

Collins because as a rule I'll never pick Alabama RBs, ever, at least while Sabin is there. Certain college systems just do or don't produce NFL talent at certain positions despite their play in college. Ohio State used to be that way with RBs, Wisconsin has always been that way with RBs.
