Popular opinion seems to love Karl Joseph at 34 while popular opinion also seems to hate Henry at 34 mostly for the fact that he is likely a 1 contract player. Is this not a double standard? No secret that bruiser rbs have a tough time lasting in the nfl, but don't thumpers usually end up thumping their way onto injured reserve or some long term neck issue? You also don't really thump bigger NFL guys that are brick walls. Small to mid-size receivers are about the only things that really get thumped. TEs usually laugh at some small safety trying to launch into them and the safety almost always takes more damage. Joseph is also a bit small in comparison to someone like Kam Chancellor.

Invoking fear into the other teams receivers definitely has great value regardless, just sayin though... this #34 pick is pretty loaded in terms of options.

Between Joseph and Henry at 34.

If they have them rated pretty much the same...then one has to look and see if the rest of the draft provides a better chance to get a good RB or good S.

I would say this draft after the second provides a better chance to get a good RB compared to safety.

So with that in mind...I take Joseph over Henry.

Now if for some crazy idiotic reason where the rest of the teams lose their ever loving minds and don't draft Zeke and he is sitting there at 34...love you Joseph, you my boy but I am taking Zeke lol.

Joseph's size makes me a little wearisome, especially after the injury. I have to question if he can sustain the rigors of the NFL. If he can, I love him as a safety. Tackles well, has good range and quickness.

Sorry, the title I used really sucked.

If you already don't like Derrick Henry at 34 because of durability concerns and him likely being a 1 contract player, are you OK with taking Joseph at 34 over other positions that are 2+ contract roles like DE, DT, CB, WR, etc.

It depends on who is there and who we drafted in the 1st.

The player I most want at 34 is William Jackson III but it looks like that is now a pipe dream. Spence was an early hope for 34 and now that is definitely a pipe dream.

My dream is

Ramsey
William Jackson III
Nassib

In the first 3 rounds

I don't really like either at 34, but of those two, Joseph, definitely.

It sure would be nice to see quality play at the Safeties positions again.... its been so long.

Similar size to Ed Reed and hadn't missed a game in his career until this season and that was a non-contact injury.

Nope
I'm taking Billings or Butler at 34
Unfortunately the Cowboys will not

Between these 2 I take Jodeph hands down

Yeah....Looks like Jackson is really shot up the boards and looks to be a middle to late round first guy at worst.

how healthy is Joseph right now? i would take him at 34 if he is ready for the season.
