Yep, I thought so too. But when I saw him last game, with Vikings, Troy Aikman pointed out his throwing motion etc.

At that point, it really seemed like Drew has reached end of his career. I always thought he made a big mistake going and playing Baseball. It screwed his mechanics and has never been the same.

But he is the only reason to blame for his downfall. I think its over for me. Minnosota QBs are pathetic, and if he gets released from there, he doesn't have any future in NFL.

I really do think there was something fundamentally wrong with his throwing motion which kept him from ever being consistant or improving as much as he needed to. It also seemed that his decision making was just a little slow from the times I've seen him play.

I don't know. I had high hopes for him and in those first couple of pre-season games where we finally saw him, I was impressed. It just seemed like he hit his ceiling extremely quick and for as long as he had to go to be a QB in the NFL, the ceiling needed to be much higher.

I don't understand why some people are ridiculing the guy. He tried his best and said all the right things. He just couldn't make it, but it's not like he was an arrogant prick who wore out his welcome.

its called being small minded and it was to be expected from the usual suspects:(

That one drive against the Ravens in 2004 had me giddy, I thought he was coming around and ready to take the reigns, I didn't realize it would be the highlight of his career.

When Bill sat him down on the bench at half time the following game it was for good, I always rooted for him though, his picture reminded me a little of Troy Aikman at first.
