At that point, it really seemed like Drew has reached end of his career. I always thought he made a big mistake going and playing Baseball. It screwed his mechanics and has never been the same.
But he is the only reason to blame for his downfall. I think its over for me. Minnosota QBs are pathetic, and if he gets released from there, he doesn't have any future in NFL.

That one drive against the Ravens in 2004 had me giddy, I thought he was coming around and ready to take the reigns, I didn't realize it would be the highlight of his career.Ozzu;1608748 said:I really do think there was something fundamentally wrong with his throwing motion which kept him from ever being consistant or improving as much as he needed to. It also seemed that his decision making was just a little slow from the times I've seen him play.
I don't know. I had high hopes for him and in those first couple of pre-season games where we finally saw him, I was impressed. It just seemed like he hit his ceiling extremely quick and for as long as he had to go to be a QB in the NFL, the ceiling needed to be much higher.
