But when it comes to QB, all the nfl teams have to pay that if they have a franchise type QB. And the amount isn't coming out of thin air, they base it off of percentages of the cap with the new tv deals.

you not have to set new records....ie like heard some idiots say on the internet 60-70 is coming , you do not need to be the next highest paid record-breaking deal..
the norm was top 5 money, top 3, yes but compromise and common-sense vs Greed from either side is best. IMHO
why not sign for 55 million but say it with a little bit more bonus? why does it have to set precedence, which is bad for capped league IMHO
,but Dwatson no one got that deal next 5 deals none were 100% guaranteed or had that type of guaranteed number, its not set in stone that the next deals had to be ridiculous higher. Tom Brady showed that and don't put a disclaimer on it , he took less and so could other qbs if these chose to do so.
