so? not sure what that means?

It means that JJ is a drunk rich man, and that Dak is a product of one of the best coaches the Cowboys have had, Coach Garrett. JJ gave Garrett 10 years of OJT to learn how to coach and he will do the same with Dak to try and learn the game of football...plus pay him mo mo mo money!

Did that answer your question?

Yet Colin Cowherd's favorite QB Russell Wilson had an elite defense this season and the Broncos are out of the playoffs after being hyped as Super Bowl favorites all off season. The Cowboys defense while good, still needs to work on stopping opposing team's run game more consistently and they have a weakness against running QBs. Also Dan Quinn needs to figure out a way to counter teams who does quick passes to avoid the Cowboys pass rush.

Anyone who buys into what Cowhert says about Dak is an idiot. If you go through some of his other videos on Dak he contradicts what he said in a previous video about Dak. He claims Dak is making more mistakes because he’s being asked to do more. Lol Dak has had one game all season where he’s had 40 passing attempts and 4 games were he’s had under 30 attempts. He doesn’t even run with the ball as much as he used to. Last season he had three games with over 40 passing attempts and 2 games with over 50 attempts. He had 10 INT’s in 15 games last season and already has 9 INT‘s in 8 games this season. You would have to go back to his rookie year to find a season where he’s passed the ball less than he has this season. It’s not that he’s having to do more that’s causing the INT’s, it’s been a combination of him not seeing the field clearly, forcing throws and his receivers not stepping up.

He had 2 TD passes dropped last Sunday against the Texans. There’s been a number of passes this season deflect off receivers hands. Some of that has been because of an inaccurate throw and some of it has been on the receivers. In previous seasons Dak was having to carry the offense and that’s not the case this season. The Cowboys have made a concerted effort to run the football more and the defense has played better than in previous years. This is a big reason Dak hasn’t had to do as much this season and we were able to win 4 games with a backup QB who didn’t have to do much. Dak hasn’t even had 300 yard game this season. He was having to pass for 400 yards in previous seasons. He had some games that were completely thrown on his shoulders.

I don't like Colin but I agree with him on DAK.
Only those naive fans think that Dak will take this team to a superbowl.... let alone win it

tend to agree but I do believe that better game planning for him like the Eagles do with Hurtz could get us there. Not saying running him like a RB, but making the offense easier esp with play calls where there’s some RPO, simplify his reads, etc,.stick to the running game and play good defense..

Let's remember, the only reason why that 98 yard drive happened is because the defense stuffed Houston on a 1st and goal after a Dak INT.

Overall, Dallas defense is 3rd in exp and top 5 in many other advanced stats.
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2022/opp.htm

Dak is 14th in passer rating, 19th in QBR.

Also, the team has a better win% with Rush (who let's be honest, isn't that good) than with Dak. Its not like the team collapsed without him.

Statistically, Colin is correct.

Yet you would be praising the dude if he said he thought Dak was top 2 in the NFL

No I wouldn't he 's a Dweeb who thinks because he has other dweebs to validate the bs he spews he actually matters. I assure he doesn't except in his echo chamber.

I wouldn't because I know Dak isn't #2 QB in the NFL .

Dak threw for an average of 232 yards back in 2016. The rushing attack lead the way that year. And it should lead the way every year. The whole offense should be designed to run the ball.

See you seem to be projecting your fallacies onto me. I have never said Dak is a top 2 QB , Not once. Dak is what he is. Now I don't fall prey to the insanity that he sucks, like you and your minions, but never have I said Dak is top 2

Much like the OP, Cowturd didn't have much to say after the Minnesota game, etc. The team went from middling offensively ... to being the highest scoring offense in the league. Even in the Texan game, he led a 98 yard game winning drive.

Fanatic hate and click bait, drive many on the interwebs. Dak can be frustrating, and definitely needs to quit playing overly timid & be more decisive. At times, he has trouble deciding even when to slide. And yes, he does need to protect the ball better at times. That said, the entire team played like dog crap against the Texans, starting with Turpin's turnover, Schultz dropping a TD, lackluster pressure & at times porous run D, and nearly ending on Ball's back-to-back mishaps that led to two turnovers.

Are the Cowboys winning despite Dak? The numbers since his return:

- 42.4% TD Drive Percentage (1st)
- 37.2 points per game (1st)
- 411 yards per game (2nd)
* 6-1 record

if we had stayed with Rush, I think our record would be the same or maybe better.
the real test for dak comes in the game with phil and somewhat with Tenn.
most of the other teams have been avg or less than avg when we played them.
