Let's remember, the only reason why that 98 yard drive happened is because the defense stuffed Houston on a 1st and goal after a Dak INT.

Overall, Dallas defense is 3rd in exp and top 5 in many other advanced stats.

Dak is 14th in passer rating, 19th in QBR.

Also, the team has a better win% with Rush (who let's be honest, isn't that good) than with Dak. Its not like the team collapsed without him.

Statistically, Colin is correct.

Statistics only matter to the Davidians in certain circumstances.

This isn't one of them

Dallas offense #1 scoring since his return...

But I guess scoring is irrelevant to the argument because it defeats the Dak detractors case. Right now. This year. It's TDs and interceptions

Until it's not
Many of those points could be directly attributed to the defense via int/fumble returns and many others to’s giving Dallas incredible field position.

Dak is at that point where he just has to win the big one (or at least get close) or he's going to be dismissed.

May not be fair, Dallas Cowboys QBs have a much bigger target on them. But keep in mind that most players with similar histories are already on their second team by now if they don't go all the way.

There's a few guys like Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford, etc who hung around with Team #1 for a long time because of the skills, and some made it all the way to the SB like Ryan, but even Stafford was let go. Although we're not getting the same draft picks.

Colin, you lost me when you said Schultz was a good tight end.

I would be way more willing to say that Dak is top 10 than the defense is elite.
Top 10 in INT’s? Absolutely. He completes more passes to opposing DB’s than his WR’s.

Dak leads the league in interceptions since he's been back and he's not even top 25 in total passing yards. In fact, Davis Mills has thrown for more yards. Those two things are scary because he's not really throwing the ball down the field and still getting picked.

Other than that Mrs. Lincol how did you like the play?
I constantly hear about his INT's but where does he rank in TD's since he's been back? Genuinely curious since I can't seem to find those rankings, and yall seem to have it readily available, thanks.

Let's also remember why and how that INT backed up in our own endzone happened... Dak's arm was hit, he didnt just throw it to the db. Context matters.

Since when is 4-1 better than 6-1?

Too late to correct myself... but Rush has a smaller sample size, so of course his winning % is better.

Anyone taking stock in Colin's takes, is not worth dealing with on a serious basis. These shows are purely narrative driven. My first take is that these shows are undisputed, when it comes down to sports drivel.

Could Philly win without that defense? When you have backup, it is easy to play loose. The offense, although great, is not what is keeping them afloat. They make it work, due to GM, coaching and player commitment.

Dak, will never be the fantasy QB, that the fanbase desires. He is a 4th round pick, starting for the Cowboys. Continue to dream about the QB stud and maybe after Dak, he will appear.

I think this is silly. Dak's clearly helping them win. Could they still win with another QB? Sure. They are not winning despite Prescott though. He is not and likely will never be one of the legends that lifts those around him. Those are rare. As Cowboys fans over the years, we were lucky with how many we had. Dak might be enough though. Do I think he can help get the Cowboys to the big game and win it? I don't know. I am more doubtful now than I was a couple of years ago.

I still choose to believe in him, but make no mistake, his performance in the playoffs (when they make them this year) is make or break for me. Not if they win or lose.. How he plays.
