I wouldn't change one single thing about the uniforms. No, not even the pants.
This is the correct answer. They started it the very first season. TV was black and white and they thought seeing the color of the visiting team would help attract fans to the stadium. The Cowboys were not the first NFL team in Dallas. To be successful required marketing strategy. I guess it worked.Back in the day, Tex decided the Cowboys would wear white jerseys at home so the fans could see the colors of the visiting team each week.
I believe the first edition Browns did it too. They did during the Joe Gibbs era. It appears now they wear dark jerseys at home more now.
It used to be Dallas would be wearing the blues when they went to Washington. It has not been that way for a while now.
i agree 100%I always thought the silver-gray pants of the 70s looked better than the blue-greenish pants.
They only wear the greenish pants with the white jerseys, I think.

I always liked those old royal blue jerseys even though it's just a boring color flip of the white. My Dad hated them, said they were bad luck. and I seriously doubt anything about the white jersey and green pants will ever be changed. And IMO, it shouldn't.

This is the only response that is acceptable.I wouldn't change one single thing about the uniforms. No, not even the pants.
There is a tint of green in our pants, it comes from the envy the rest of the NFL has for the great Dallas Cowboys, those that played before Drew Pearson, those that played with him and those that have played after him!Pants are green. I won't budge on this.
