Deshaun really wanted to be drafted by the Cowboys. Thank goodness we dodged that bullet.
I dunno, dem Texans did quite well, He had a couple of good seasons for dem Texans, they got a shed load of draft goodies from da hapless Browns when they dumped him and they got to laugh at how badly they fleeced da hapless Browns

I would consider trading down a couple of spots if I knew I could still get my targeted blue chip ( they did it with Parsons ) but 10 spots? That's a no for me.......
The only way I trade down 10 spots is if I already had plans to trade down again.

I'm not sure there is that much difference between the player you can get at 22 and 32 this year.

Can you imagine prime Fletcher Cox on this team?
Or Vita vea, come on dude that's who you picked on that list there's a whole bunch of greats that's the whole point of this list.. I say do not reach you literally should take the best player available but if it's a tie you gotta go need first right what we be the biggest need at #12 for the dallas cowboys? Literally people are gonna say if it's an offensive lineman then you take him and that's the Safeway out but I think it would be a mistake this draft to do that but I don't think they can go wrong if you take the very best and clear best player that's sitting there at any position you probably should just do it don't worry about where they fit you make room for them... There's that many holes on this team and it's hard to go wrong outside to say don't take a quarterback pretty much everything else is wide open....

here's the counterpoint there's a couple running backs on there did you all really think Jeanty is special, look the kid looks great ,but you really you would take him no matter what and who else is on the board? Is this a no brainer don't think about it pick if he's there no matter what you take him? I don't believe that to be the case but if they picked him I wouldn't be upset but I worry about his miles how much he's used in college and the competition he faced that he won't be as dynamic yes he will be good but how great will he be and we need so many other positions.

this is what people are talking about the Cowboys are gonna be dumb and there are other people saying SF could take him ahead of us and we should jump them to get him??hmm

anyway, but do you really want a running back in that spot when there is a lot of really good ones in the second and third round that can be had easily, I don't think I want to take Jeanty, even if he's there..

Unless he's by far the best player available, I think we need to get other positions like I'd rather have a pass rusher or a linebacker or a wide receiver or yeah interior D line is there a guy at #12 like Fletcher Cox or Vita Vega coming from Michigan how much blowback are we going to get from some of the casuals about that?

If the Cowboys wanted to load up on day 2 picks, they could trade down twice and have 5 picks.

Of course that means you miss out on that potential blue chip player at 12.
No no way I'm trading out of the first or second round now that could be something you do in the third round because if you could pick up a fourth rounder where we're missing one or say two 4th rounders versus 1/3 rounder then it starts to make sense to move around and up and down because you can use a lot of the extra 5th and 6th round players I believe we have but there's no way I'm moving out of #12 or #44 we absolutely need 2 starters day one starters this guy's there you have to pick best player available you have to go for it this team has too many holes to be messing around with the moving up and down I thought this whole tanking thing was so we can get better blue chip players I know we didn't tank but we were watching the draft to get the very highest draft pick we could and now you guys wanna move out now my opinion says you don't move out of the 1st 2 picks but yes you could start figuring out how to get more quality picks from the third round and beyond.

There's gotta be a way we can get some fourth round picks maneuvering out of the third or getting a later third round pick for a fourth and a higher 5th to use a fifth and a 6th to get back up in and get a higher 5th I mean I don't know how it works but yeah in that case in those areas sure.... It'd be a way to make up for giving away our fourth round pick the last two years if they could find a way to do that I'd rather have 4 quality players than seven or eight that are filled in by a bunch of players that might not be here 2 years from now

Yeah, but the Texans aren’t the circus the Cowboys are. Chances are he flames out quicker in Dallas. Remember, he wanted say so in personnel decisions. Also, it is highly unlikely Dallas fleeces Cleveland like Houston did.

Maybe summarize this into a couple of sentences?

Dude there's giant spaces all over it you don't like it don't read it there's enough punctuation even though it's talk to text for you to read it if it's too much for you to read I get it hooked on phonics is a real thing... I use talk to text if it's something you don't like it's sentence structure then just pass it on by I'm not fixing it for you..

I didn't read it. Probably like 99% percent of people who aren't going to set aside time to read your stream of consciousness manifestos.

Add Sanders and Ward could go top 10 based on position w/o a 1st round grade ........dropping at least two other players. It's way early but would surprise me if Mason Graham dropped in our range 10-12.
if that happened 9ers would draft him right in front of us.

No trade down unless you want to increase your chances of drafting a Taco Charlton instead of a Micah Parsons.
I am fine trading down if you are confident the guy you want is still there in 3 picks.
I am not interested in fantasy trade downs of 10+ picks and just YOLOing the board to stockpile picks of riskier players.
2023 and 2024 didn't provide the top of draft talent we need to help buoy this roster.
This team needs to draft a Pro Bowler. 12 gives you that chance.

I am fairly certain the last R1 guy to go will be Jeanty. I'd welcome him but not at 12.
But I also see this RB class as the best of the last decade so might be OK waiting and getting that guy R2 or R3.
