And it works too. But when in doubt, check out the ratings. 'Nuff said.

Not only that, New Orleans is a crime-riddled ****hole. Yea, you can have some fun there, but I'd rather live in Cleveland than Nawlins.

Crime riddled ****hole ? For the first 3 years living in Dallas I had my car broken into 5 times I lived in New Orleans for the majority of my life and I never had my car broken into and I lived in some rough neighbor hoods. Also, most of the people that work in Dallas don`t live there because of the crime.

How can the Saints be America's Team when they're not even Louisiana's team? Last time I checked, LSU is MUCH bigger down there than the forever-sucky Saints. Chew on that gumbo for a while.

He added that the Who Dat Nation is infectious with enthusiasm. "I mean, How can you not look at these folks going nuts and not sort of feel and want to be a part of it?"

Why are the Saints so popular?

Because they are winning. Next question?

A team from a city dumb enough to build their city below sea level does not deserve to even think of having the title "America's Team".

I absolutely LOVE this emoticon. I'm so sick of the nonsense this week, and (Dear God!) if they win Sunday night and make it to the Super Bowl, I am going to have to move.

The same can be said from a team that represents a city dumb enough to build tall sky crappers made up mostly of glass in tornado alley.

Are the Saints America's Team?

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.-- The Saints have become a nice national story with this Super Bowl run because of what the city of New Orlenas has battled back from after Hurricane Katrina.

But are the Saints the new America's Team?

Saints linebacker Scott Fujita was asked this question the other day. Now remember, Fujita played with the Cowboys in 2005 before leaving for New Orleans.

"The Saints are America's adopted team, there's no question about it," he said. "I was in Dallas. When I chose to leave Dallas, everybody said, 'Why would you leave Dallas? They're America's team.' They were self-proclaimed 'America's Team' a couple decades ago, and they have really, really good, loyal fans, but the rest of the country hates them, let's be honest. New Orleans, you've got people all over the country who are pulling for us for so many reasons and really valid reasons."

Every single year there is a new Americas team. Steelers because the fanbase, Patriots because 9-11, Saints because Katrina.

Hey you can even make an argument on the Commanders and raiders as Americas team. Economy going down the gutter with a proud history and a powerfull military. Sounds like the Commanders and raiders to me.:lmao:

At the end of the day it doesnt matter what anybody else thinks. Americas team will always be the Cowboys. Get used to it.

Because I live with this nonsense, and I needed to vent!! :banghead:

I can sympathize with your pain living down here is MS. I just hate these bandwagon idiots the most.

Let's be honest, the Cowboys are and will always be America's Team regardless of the haters out there. You ask foreigners about American Football the first team they mention is the Dallas Cowboys as well as their cheerleaders. WE ARE AMERICA'S TEAM PERIOD, no doubt about it. Any team that has a grand following and is largely associated as the "American" team will always have a lot of haters (see New York Yankees).

I hate to be blunt but the only reason why people around the nation are adopting the Who Dat Nation and all that hoopla is because of Katrina. They are not America's Team, but they are America's "Charity Case/I Feel Sorry for the City" Team. The only reason why people are rooting for them is because they are the little orphan team that has been left at the wayside for all these years with little paper bags over their heads. Everyone roots for the underdog and the pathetic rising to the top after 40+ years of futility. It's blunt but it's true, in the end that's why people are cheering for them against the Colts. And yes I have to admit that's why I'm rooting for them. The city finally needs something good to happen, but I still like the Colts more and I will always think of my home team as America's Team.

Writers/Journalist/Mediots... whatever you wanna call them.

They write and debate "crap" all the time.

Key word being "crap"

WRONG, Scott.

I don't have to tell y'all what's wrong with that statement, right?

What an idiot... and what did we do to him to make a statement like that?

We aren't in the SB, but we did kick the **** outta his team this year... in their place... when they were undefeated...
