Didn't Butler drop a TD pass last night? I didn't watch much of the game, but I seem to remember that he had a TD pass go right through his arms in the end zone. That's 7 points, then the punt return by Beasely, even if they don't gain a yard, that's an automatic FG, but there was a holding penalty on the return. Yeah, Dak and the offense had a bad game, but he wasn't the only reason. For the past 11 games, many have discredited Dak, saying that it was all the OL and Zeke. He loses for the first time in 11 games, and its all his fault!:facepalm:

You might have a point on the Butler drop were it not for the fact that Prescott threw a TD to Terrance Williams on the very next play.

I seriously can't wrap my head around some folks around here, sometimes. The guy has been nothing short of phenomenal, he finally had a rookie clunker game, and it's the end of the world. He's a rookie, the guy was always going to have a bad game here or there, and this team was never going to go 15-1.

I've already completely moved on from last night's game and have little worries about this team.

So if Romo comes in and has a bad game or loses a game on this team that people are saying that he needs a chance with, then I'm assuming that Romo would get all of the blame and would be called for to get benched like Dak is?

Nobody is giving Dak all of the blame.

The team has posted an 11-2 season. When people use that argument it sounds like giants fans claiming Eli is special because of his 2 super bowl victories.

Nobody knows if Romo would be better for sure, but every report has said he looks outstanding in practice. There is a reason the coaches didn't let him try to win the job back - because he would, and they didn't want to upset the apple cart.

I seriously doubt anyone wants Dak to fail, but some of us demand that if he's the starter he be the best player at the position. When the best player is standing on the sidelines, you're doing it wrong. Now if you want to argue that we don't know if Romo is better I'll say this - if Romo is only 75 percent of the player he was in 2014, he's considerably better than the Dak from December 11.

How is 75% of 2014 a better player than Dak when Dak has won one less game in a row than Romo has won the whole 2014 season? Or are we going to act like it was all about Zeke and Demarco Murray didn't rush for 1800 yards, which is more than Zeke is on pace for? Dak didn't get replaced because you don't replace quarterbacks who has been performing like he has.

That's all well and good. And if Dak bounces back next week, all of this talk goes away.

But what if he doesn't bounce back next week?

What if he's still struggling Week 16 vs Detroit?

You're out of your mind if you're willing to "go down with the Dak ship" just based on principle. We're trying to win the Super Bowl and we have a Pro Bowl QB on the bench.

Want to keep an elite QB on the bench? You'd better be elite yourself. Dak was putrid last night and he should absolutely be on the "hot seat" now.

I'm with you here. I'm already thinking about the Buccaneers game. Dak was long overdue for a bad game, so now it's over with. The Cowboys are still 11-2. Had they lost to the Vikings and beat the Giants instead, the mood here would be completely different with the same exact record. Just something to think about.

Dak didn't win 11 games or lose 2. He played a part but his part has not been as big in the wins as some would have us believe. Dak is mechanically flawed. It's a fact. I hope he fixes it in the offseason. He's done a great job not turning the ball over most of the time.

2-24 on 3rd down is awful the past 2 games. The last possession last night was a total joke. To keep Dak in is wasting the season.

This isn't about one game. It's the way he's played all season. The book on him is out. The proof is in the film. If people think the playoffs will be different, they're fooling themselves

the way hes played all season? lol thats funny. i respect your opinion but dak has not sucked all the time this season. this team with this "crap" qb according to you won 3 games in 12 days. and dont forget we are 11-2.

have u listened to what some film guys have said? yes dak wasnt at his best in the pocket he looked uncomfortable but his WRs literally did him no favors. no seperation. and dont forget the giants were coming constantly.. i dont think it matters if its dak or romo back there last night.

You said he reminded you of Joe Montana.

I remember, because when the medics arrived and asked me once I was revived what happened to cause me to almost choke to death I had to tell them some genius on the internet just compared Dak Prescott to Joe friggin Montana.

This answers so many questions I have about you. Evidently you read one line, ignored the rest, and nearly died.

The black bunting would be permanently hanging on this board if you were to go toes up. In the future check with me before you strangle on a post.

10 years 2 playoff wins, that's why. We've seen what Romo can do and it's not good. Now it's time to move on and see what the rookie can do after a loss. The last time he lost, he went 11 straight.

I seem to recall a time when there was a vocal group here saying we need to see what the young guy can do in regard to Romo.

I am not against Romo. I have my concerns he can stay healthy, and win games.

But I am not certain Romo could get out of trouble with that pass rush last night., And i don't believe I am the only person who has seen Romo get beat by the blitz up the middle. Washington has done that to him time and again.

As much as I want to believe a Super Bowl is within reach this year, I do not believe this defense is strong enough for the play-offs. So all the Super Bowl talk - and i got caught up in that - is really pointless at this time.

Exactly right.

Dark gas earned next week and not only do do hope but I believe he will bounce back and have a great game.

But...

If he doesn't and he struggles and we go 1-3 down the stretch there is no way the team is going into the playoffs on a losing streak.

The change will be made and the team and Dak will be the first to support Tony if it happens.

I know, what a joke. Nice logic, we don't know that Romo is any better, so let's just keep on going as is. *** kind of backwards, stupid-*** logic is that? 2 for 22 in 3rd down conversions last two games. Under 50% completion rate and 7 points scored last night. Why exactly are you so adamant about defending Dak and so willing to throw a guy who was performing at an MVP level the last time he was healthy to the curb?

Dumbest post of the day so far.
Romo was healthy last year against giants and Philly.....didn't play very well. Not saying Romo will be great or terrible but he is unknown right now and Dak has earned a chance at leading this team to the playoffs.....wait he already got us there. What more can you expect going 11-2. Wow some of you guys flip flop so quick it's insane. Y'all react on impulse and not logically
