he didnt even watch the game, probably just heard about it...because if he did...he would see Owens never out jumped Newman for he ball, at its highest point

dude is a clown...he thinks if you catch the ball in the end zone, with a defender close by, you won a jump ball

hes never had to fight too hard for a ball in the air and has won......he usually lets defenders have there way with him, when it comes to making a play in the air...better?

TO wants his junk back.... from out of your mouth :lmao:

Coming from a guy who has ROMOSAPIEN, under his name, and Romo in a superman costume, does that get you aroused?

Wipe the side of your mouth for me, its not a good look

4:49 of the video. When has Romo thrown him a pass to make a play like that? Only one I can recall was last year against the Steelers and he almost came up with the catch.

Romo has given him many opportunities are you serious? and he let people pick it off

And that play on Newman...he already had Newman beat, and he didnt have to go up that high, or fight for it....

i give him the edge, because hes more proven, but once Austin has a year or 2 under his legs, i feel he will be way better, because he already is physically better

Lol at you refuting actual proof. He didn't have to go up high or fight for it? That was double coverage.smh Whatever dude. I like Miles but relax on the hyping. He is better than Roy, that's about all we know.

i mean im not trying to be an *** to you, because i see were you are coming from, you think im saying Miles is better than TO...im not saying that at all....i just think he has more talent...but Smarts, outweighs talent....but Miles has a little of that and is getting better

like when you watch TO especially for us....whenever romo threw it up, and gavbe him a chance he wouldnt go up high, and would basically make you feel like it was the QB's fault , hes giving you a chance

i just think Owens is scared to leave his feet most of the times

exactly..hes been doing it for years, which is why i give him the edge....as far as Athletic wise, TO is not touching this guy

I think they are 2 different types of WR. TO has or had very good speed and is very strong and has been able to do it when he was the focus of the defense. Austin also has very good speed but is a bit of a smaller frame at 214 compared to TO 224. In the end though it is about making plays Austin has been doing that now the hard part doing it when you become more of the focal point.

the thing is, is consistency......like Roy has said, how many chances has he had to bail romo out by going up, and fighting for the ball? instead of sitting there barely fighting, and letting the guy pick it off?

hes been that way all his career ...hes a great WR, but Austin does things more consistently, and shows better flashes

TO may have an edge, at lnowing how to set a corner up, and leave him in the dust/fake him out...or how to beat a double coverage

but i never seen him in all his years pull a randy moss, catching balls with 2 people even 3 all going up for the ball when nothing else is there....i see that in Miles

i agree...which is why i give Owens the edge, because hes smarter(for now) and has more exp...

we will see though

i remember TO getting beat going up alot more then winning..

buffulo anyone? when the pressure was on and you must do it, he lets some CB making his first start beat him.. luckily we won, but it was alot harder.

He does fight for the ball high and adjust better than TO there is No doubt! Neither are great route runners though.
T.O. is one of the greatest route runners of all time...? He's not super fast, doesn't have great hands, I don't know how else he gets all those touchdown catches.

Drags, slants, and crosses are all routes that you have to run well to make them work, and he was the best in the league at them for years.

I was a huge TO fan, I still like TO off the field but he can't play great forever, and as a player on a TEAM sport, we're better off (even if we lose this year).

To respond to the thread topic, I think Austin has a chance to have a TO career, at this point Owens is not motivated to play in Buffalo, I wonder what he'd be in New Orleans or New England, but he's old, unmotivated, probably time for him to retire.......
