Cowboys forum pisses me off, could they not at least gave us the decency the cut off date, instead some arbitrary timeline, that no one knew for sure? How many fans did we lose out on because of this, just a great blunder, not shocked by any means.

I agree it was in very poor taste in my opinion. That and the idea that the other social media outlets are where their focus is simply screams dollar signs. Another thing that I was thinking right when the crash happened was that they used to post news articles on the forum that linked to the website, which in turn offered more articles, videos, stats, schedules, roster and depth chart etc....So without the forum that connection isn't convenient. I don't frequent the website half as much as I used to. It actually took fans away from that outlet and probably pissed a bunch off to the degree they may not care enough to find this forum. It's really sad.

Agreed. Paying would have weeded out the useless trolls. Sounds redundant, but there were actually some useful trolls that made the forum fun. Of course we had a big group of silly SOBs I'd have a beer with any day.

This is going alongside other dates in infamy and a year from that date, all of us, not suspended, will gather to celebrate it's passing and our moving the Good Ship Lollipop to a new port.

Look at it this way, we didn't change forums, we're changing a forum. The frivolity, joviality and comradeship will infect our new hosts and they will sing in the sunshine and laugh every day.
