Hey Terry, Owens, You Have Your Pronouns Mixed Up!

I just wish Parcells would show all of the balls dropped by Owens & Glenn, then tell them both, "Until you stop this , shut up about anyone else on the team".

This team is getting dangerously close to imploding due to all of the selfish "I, Me" talk, instead of "Us, We". Even TNew said, "This team has too many talkers, and not enough players". How true. Why is it that during his latest interview, Owens wasn't heard to say once, "I dropped two more passes, and I lead the league in that category. Until I do my share and stop dropping passes, and running myself out of bounds??!!, I have no right to say anything about anyone else", if he wants to talk about himself. If he wants to talk about his team, how about, "We need to pull together as a team, and all of us are determined to do so". The same goes for Terry Glenn.

No, instead, they hint that there are problems with the offense, and "it 'aint with us"! Just remember boys, every time you point your finger at someone else, there is a thumb & three fingers pointing back at you!

And people wonder why coaches are so concerned about players with character ....:bang2:

well, it does seem like we don't try to involve the WR's in the game until we're 2 scores down.

I agree with the premise of this post...

Until these guys are absolutely perfect in games, they should just keep their mouths shut...

To some how deflect criticism of one's play by asserting that he's not involved early enough is beyond lame...

He's implying that he's not professional enough to maintain focus throughout a game...

Friggin hack...

He always professes to be a "man", especially for being so courageous to apologize for his chicken-crap spitting act, then why doesn't he be a man and take responsibility for the drops and quit making excuses and blaming others?...

No one's perfect...The coaches, the players, etc...

This was a team loss and players need to stop pointing fingers and acting like the children known as the New York Football Giants...

That's what losers do...Blame others before looking at themselves first...

Dallas 1st drive had 2 passes to Glenn and 1 to Crayton, we fell behind by 2 score because of a fumbled kickoff return so we did not get our second possession of the game until we were 2 score down.

Didn't we intercept the ball after that fumble?

Once again all roads lead back to Parcells. If he wasn't on such a high horse where it pertains to TO you wouldn't have anything to write about. Until Parcells gets off of his high horse and has a nice sit down with TO or TG and TO you will continue to see reports of them being upset when they aren't getting the ball (specifically from TO). Tell Parcells to wake up and be a freaking coach for heaven's sake. These guys are probably yearning for attention from him. Yet he stays perched atop his high horse.

Now, I could be wrong. BP could be all over TO behind the scenes but I seriously doubt that is happening.

TO also does have a point. You might want to get him the ball a little earlier than 27 minutes into the game. How about not sending him on fly pattern after fly pattern and throw him a quick slant? Line him up in the slot. Something!

Finger pointing is the beginning of the end...

I'm hoping that BP and JJ can still right this ship...NOBODY is going to be happy with 1 and done in the playoffs.

That's not why JJ brought in Parcells...and TO...and that's not what we as Cowboys Fans accept or should expect from this team especially.

I agree with previous posters...TO...and even Glenn should not be airing our dirty laundry.

If TO was a sane individual...one might think that he would see this point, being he believed someone from within the organization leaked news about his conduct at team meetings...

Of course we are obviously not dealing with a sane individual, so that lesson would certainly fall on deaf ears.

Well considering he was running on a bad knee, I'll give him props for getting as far as he did. Just wish someone was running w/him to make that last block for him to score.

it goes deeper than how many times Terry and TO or whomever get the ball.... it's HOW they get the ball, ******.

I could be a coach and call 100 fly patterns to TO in a row, but I'd rather call 100 slants to TO in a row if I'm a coach who knows how to use his freaking talent properly

I would not doubt that is happening behind the scense. Bill is not going to come out to the press to deal with players. I don't know what high horse your talking. You really want to see Parcells trashing players to the media?

I agree...none of us know what is really going on behind the scenes and in the lockeroom. I have to believe that BP had more than just a "few" things to say to the players after that debacle on Monday.

No. I simply want to hear him say "Don't worry about that. It's under control" when any reference to TO is made to him by the media. That, coupled with TO's disappearance from the mic or his sudden vanilla commentary, would tell me Parcells is "handling it".

Instead he continues to dodge questions and feed the media his same line of blah reasoning. It has really gotten old.

TO, like I said before, is truthful to a fault. I'm sure he's lied in the past. Everyone has. However, when the lights are on and the mic is in his face he talks. It's evident by some of his previous press conferences this year, namely the one following pillgate, that Parcells barely has two words to say to TO. I'm sure you remember the media asking TO if Parcells talked to him about it and TO saying no. Then a few days later after a game the media posed the question to Parcells and he said something along the lines of "No. I haven't talked to him about it." as if to imply that it wasn't important. I think there's more going on behind the scenes between Parcells and TO than we could ever imagine and it's not good.

I guess we'll know when we jettison that talent and he writes his next book about it... Then some eyes will open up.

behind the scenes.....

Parcells: "do you have an italian last name"?
TO: no
Parcells: "are you from new jersey or new york"?
TO: no
Parcells: "do I know anyone in your family"?
TO: no
Parcells: "do you think Vinny Testaverde is the greatest QB of all time and would you agree with me cutting Romo and signing Vinny to a 12 year, $400 billion contract"?
TO: no
Parcells: "i hate you"

An interesting theory about TO, as if he hasn't already been in BP's doghouse, is that after he spent Christmas Eve -the night before the game- playing dominoes with a couple of Eagles, BP decided to "punish" him by not calling plays to him early.

I know this sounds pretty petty and it wouldn't make sense for BP to "punish" TO at the detriment of the team, but really, I wouldn't put it past him.

And for someone that makes $25 million, he shouldn't have any problem being focused and into the game for 3+ hours a week regardless of whether he gets any catches early.

Bottomline is you have to weigh whether he is worth the trouble. Right now, I don't think he is. Of course we'd need someone to replace him with if he let him go after the season, but I notice Philly hasn't had too much trouble w/o him.

TO's a moron and Parcells knows this. End of story.
