According to some Cowboys fans, Cooper Rush threw every pass or most of his passes with perfect or at least almost perfect accuracy. Some claim that Dak supporters have a bias or certain agenda. While pretending like those who dislike Dak, don't have a certain agenda of their own. First they said how Andy Dalton was going to take Dak's job and now they have moved onto Cooper Rush. I can recall how the OL and offensive supporting cast, was used as reasons for why the "Andy Dalton is going to take Dak's job." predictions didn't come to fruition. The same offense in which some claimed would be loaded and talented enough for Andy Dalton to take over and do a better job than Dak could ever do with the same offense.

I have to admit when I saw the title I was thinking it would be an anti Dak thread based on poor performance in 3 1/2 quarters of action. I think Rush is the only backup QB thrust into a starting role so would assume most starters should have a higher accuracy percentage.

Dak has been weighed, measured, and headed to life after the NFL

For what it is worth, Andy Dalton had a Bad Throw % of 15% and an On Target % of 78.4% in 2020 with Dallas.

In 2021, Dak's best season statistically speaking, he had a Bad Throw % of 14.7% and an On Target % of 77.3%.

Just saying.

Well Im a huge Dalton Fan TCU for life, Maybe at the same time in thier career it would have been closer but once again even if you dont like Dak that doesnt mean Andy at that time was anywhere near passing the ball the same...thats what makes these things un real...not one of you would seriously say "Lets Roll with Rush" if i compared the 2 QB's and you didnt know them...you dont like Dak thats fine dont let it make you say things that just seem ridiculous...if Rush improves goes on a win streak then say it. that last game was not a passing clinic in anyones world

There is no debate here. You’re just saying things that have zero basis in reality.

The OP didn’t even mention Dak, but you thought he was secretly praising Dak for how he played in Week 1!

The thing with this is the same issue that I have with all of the 'anti-dak' stuff. Qb is not played in a vacuum. The QB is 1 of 11 on the field and they all depend on each other to be successful. Throwing bad or inaccurate passes can be due to many different factors , most of which are out of the qb hands. When complaining about the results you need to consider that, especially when placing blame on 1 of the 11.
