With such a thorough recap, I felt like I already have.

It was an hour long show not a short interview. Just for you

Gruden loved Fowler and Ray didn't like Gregory or Beasley

loved Peters and D.J. Smith at CB said Waynes and Johnson couldn't and wouldn't tackle.

He loved Gordon, Gurley and Langford.... didn't understand why Langford was in the first round mix.

Liked Shelton wouldn't take Armstead

Loved Perryman, said he was a force and could change a game with one hit

He gave Mel a hard time about his ratings.... he'd show a play where Gregory is getting blown up or avoiding the play and he'd tell Kiper if you can't stop the run the other team won't pass so who cares if you are only a great pass rusher.

Interesting on Langford (Michigan State). I watched <most> of his games this year and I while I thought he was a great college back nothing jumped out to me as 'special' - at least not like it did with La'Veon Bell the guy who ran it for MSU previously.

I am just shocked Gruden said he didn't like somebody. He thinks everyone is great.

I don't see it. I'm a huge Michigan State fan and I thought Langford was a really nice college RB, but I just don't see him as a difference maker in the NFL.

I was pretty shocked he was very negative on several players. He'd hammer Kiper on why he and McShay had them rated so high.

Another cb he loved was Gholson, said he was small but didn't play small unliked Johnson and Waynes. He's the first guy I've seen that didn't like Johnson. I've seen several say Waynes was overrated.

Mel kept saying like in Armstead case that he ust needed good coaching, and Gruden shot back sarcastically about the NFL having supercoaches, and then he said if he was coaching against Armstead he'd run right at Armstead every play.

Demarco says hi. Jk. While Demarco was not a world beater, he turned out pretty good considering many passed on him until we grabbed him in thethe 3rd.

Too true. I saw every game DeMarco played and thought the pick was just awful. Glad to be wrong.

I did as well and you're wrong. He did everything for them. I've said this a hundred times on here but had he not been injured in the NC game that year Stoops has another ring. He was that good. And this is coming from somebody that hates OU!

Even better would be the Gruden Kiper special, performed by Frank Caliendo.

It's on ESPN today at 3:30pm. I assume it's a replay it says Kiper Gruden special.

Thanks.
I figured it would be, but couldn't resist the response, especially waking up at that time. LOL

Unfortunately, will need to record it, as I won't be home at that time.

Caliendo would come across as being too genuine in comparison to the living caricatures that he is lampooning.
