Hill - Stephen Jones: Chaz Green time at RT but La'el Collins to get look

Moving Collins as a maybe is really poor. Let the guy actually learn a position before you start moving him around. If you want him at RT, move him to RT.

Man, this has to suck for the cheerleaders who told me he couldn't play RT because they thought the team believed it.

If you watched Collins play at LSU, and understand what you're watching, you know he can play RT in the NFL. In his sleep. At a high level.

But now's a little late to worry about getting your best 5 out there. That should have been the thought process before you let Leary walk. Could have had 5 pro bowl level players there. Instead you chose to allow your team strength to be weakened.

I've liked what I've seen of him when he's played. But that's a limited body of work from which to choose.

Here's hoping he stays healthy this year.
"Limited body" is right....

I'm pulling for him, but he has to stay healthy.

This is a little random, but is anyone worried about Tyron's back? I know it was supposedly just bulging discs (I say this lightly), but back problems for a left tackle are a little concerning.

The problem is it's been more than a herniated disc. This is his fourth year I believe and he's played in maybe two games? The rest of the time he's been "injured." He is the only lineman we have who is always injured so either he's very fragile or very lazy.

Edit: It's his 3rd year. Now that Free is retired and he is approaching a new contract I bet he miraculously overcomes his injury bug.

I may be 100% wrong on this guy but he appears to be lazy and not dependable.

Well, it could also be that the coaching staff had the veteran guy installed as the starter no matter what Green did so he figured why put his health in jeopardy?

Even when Green was uninjured Free remained the starter. That means that A) Green is a worse player than Doug "The Turnstile" Free, or B) The staff wants the vet to play just because he's 'earned it' or whatever.

Who is Chaz Green?

It's a beautiful thing. Transition of power in motion.

Well he hasn't been like this at all. It's like this weekend Jerry gave the keys to him and he started running off at the mouth.

Play poker, not truth or dare. Sometimes its great to know, sometimes its not. He really didn't have to say we didn't want most of the guys that left, not always good to make enemies.

Sit back and enjoy getting to finally know Stephen Jones.

The "team strength" will still be a team strength. You can't pay everyone. But, I say this knowing that this can seriously bite the Cowboys in the rear, since they really didn't have a contingency plan for Leary's departure. Unless they think Cooper fits the bill.
