I liked what I saw from that Cleary kid.

Same here. He looked a lot better in that week 17 game in Philadelphia than Free did. I think that's the performance that pushed Free into retirement.

Following Ronald Leary’s free-agent departure, La’el Collins has a “great opportunity” to step back in at left guard first rather than a possible move out to right tackle, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett says.

“I think that would be in his best interest,” Garrett said. “But again, he has some position flex. Both those guys played tackle in college so they have a lot of experience in games at a high level doing that. But we’re going to give him a chance to play left guard first.”

Doink!

I still think we need to move Zack Martin to RT and create competition at G between Collins, Looney and Cooper.

He didn't suit up again after the 49er game when he filled in admirably for Smith at LT. Having the swing OT active on gameday is always a need, you just never know when he actually needs to play.

For the record, I think Chaz is better than Free at this stage and would have taken his job last year. But I'm glad the team signed Bell because there is no reason to believe Chaz will stay healthy. He was injury prone at UF also. But if healthy, I think he will be good and the fact he can slide to LT provides nice position flexibility also if Tyron misses a couple games.

Chaz Green has been nothing but a complete bust up to this point. He was a part time injury prone player in college, and has been an injury prone disappointment in the NFL. He even looked horrid in preseason when he played.

There is no way the Cowboys can be counting on him.

Feel free to go back through my posts & look at his film review against #1 Hawks D....then his game film

Don't make stupid statements you can't back up....

Bust? That's laughable.....

But in the regular season, when it counted, he played well when Tyron was out with the back. Injury prone? Yes, think we agree on that. Bust? Maybe if he can't stay healthy which is certainly possible. Can he play if healthy? I think we disagree on that one, I believe he can.

Could be true. Until the papers are in he's still an option.

Maybe he's playing a little hard ball with them now?? Drop my salary last year huh, well good luck with Chaz Green lasting all season!! Lol
