Who called Carr, Church, or Claiborne elite? Now you're just lying.Every player in dallas = average.
When they leave, they are all called elite. Carr, Claiborne, Church, Hitchens etc
I didn’t realize it was $9M a year. Wow! I gotta say good for the FO letting him walk. Yikes. It will will have higher utility with our new coach next year.
It is beyond insane for a player of his caliber and they are going to plug him into an aggressive 3-4 system.I really like the player but $9 mil per year is insane money for him.
Good. Take the fifth or sixth round comp pick.
Depends on the structure of the contract and performance. This year 8m got a 4th so I’d expect anything above 8.5m to get a 4th next year.
We should have anticipated this massive gaping hole.My ceiling would be 7 million. Well it’ll yield us a 4th round comp. But a big hole.
9 mil tho?
Considering the average salary would be 4-5 million if every player on the roster was paid equally, maybe 9 million isn’t that out of line for a starting LB when you need one in Free agency. Plus, averaging 9 million per year doesn’t mean 9 million against the cap. KC unloaded a QB salary, so they can afford it.
But yet we hold onto bums like Witten and Dez for way too much money.Yes let every good player that develops here walk away because they aren’t worth keeping. Just keep bringing in scrubs. That’ll win a Super Bowl.
Welcome to the Bengals of the NFC.
