Hutchins is the draft pick I'm most excited about. I think we might've stole a player here.

Brady James was a fourth rounder and he was really good for a long time with us. This guy can be too.

Brady James was the similar to a sandwich that is filled with something that is shoveled onto the bread from the pooper scooper. I certainly hope Hitchens has more than James fake rara bigtalk/no play speaker for the defense

Hopefully Lee gets back and has a good 3 or 4 year run as player but none of us can control that.
What he can control is that he will make one heck of a football coach someday.

Bradie was a good player who was caught in 3 or 4 different scheme changes and eventually just not athletic enough to do what we wanted.

Not every player is going to make the ring of honor but it hardly means they sucked.

I think he will surprise many, if it doesn't work out then good thing it happened early on off season that way we can sign someone if need too, if anything they making it seem like Lee is not going too IR yet, example the guy from Chargers tore ACL in May last year and came back too play in week 13 or 14, i say play him if there's a chance if there isn't well don't risk it and IR him.

They can't put him on IR until the season begins without exposing him to waivers first.

You might remember the TE that the Giants tried to move to IR in 2012 and the Patriots signed him. The Giants said it was an unwritten rule that teams wouldn't sign each others players in that situation, but Belicheat told the Giants to kiss his arse.

Sorry Jt but my view on BJ is that he was always jumping on the pile after the play was over and was target practice for QBs hitting an open TE for a 1st down & and of course he did the interviews after the game speaking for the team. His manor was more than embarrassing. Should have never been allowed to make the defensive calls.

Good info x. Better keep him around. Will make for a Superman MLB Backup to the rescue if healthy and called upon.

regardless how we feel about him being injury prone or whatever, this is something that sets this man apart.

a lot of guys would sulk and feel sorry for themselves...this man the very next day is already helping a rookie with plays to make sure he still is helping the team in any way that he can.

he is the epitomy of "bad things happen to good people"

i hope they make him a coach

I assume that they will move him to IR at the cut-down date which is when they can do it without exposing him to waivers.

Here's a guy who has no idea what he's talking about.

James was not that bad, but I do understand to some extent what you're saying. He seemed like a guy that thought he was an All-Pro. He had a weekly evening radio show and was really quite arrogant and had a high sense of entitlement, IMO.

He was great against the run but really struggled in coverage.

James was a favorite of two of the best defensive coaches (and front seven specialists) of the last generation... But I'm sure CZ experts know better.

Was that Mark Ballard? And if IRRC he didn't work out for the Patriots, but they took a shot, couldn't blame them.

I will say this though about Hitchens.. The guy does look like a MLB.

He may actually prove to be a stouter Sean Lee. Can see him learning rapidly, making all the right calls, being in the right place, and punishing with his hits. He does not initially have first round talent, but he's smart, intense, and tough. Wait.....that sounds like my wife.

Can't recall, but he did go 4 years in college without injuries right, so this is also a good sign, so far.

I think they can put him on TC PUP list, and not count toward the 90 man roster. Yes, then move him to the IR or just leave him on the PUP at the start of regular season, then move him to IR after 6 weeks into the season. No hurry to place him on IR.
