Doomsday101;3186924 said:And that is between him and his wife, not you not me or anyone else but him and his wife.
He has also spent millions in the Tiger Wood foundations to help underprivileged kids as well as many other charitable ventures which he has not only put the money but the time.
Yes what he did was very wrong but that is between a man and his wife.
Doomsday101;3186978 said:professionally he is the greatest player out there and his talent is not going to come to an end. Most of the PGA golfers owe alot to Tiger the reasons the season money total went from 60 to 280 mill a year was because of Tiger Woods. The game still needs him.
His personal image yes is and will continue to be tarnished but I think many of the good things Tiger has done outside the game will be things he will continue to do.
Doomsday101;3187049 said:That is hard to say today.
Some of the endorsement may not but others will take there place. How Tiger plays and conducts himself over time will attract endorsements down the line.
The ball is in Tiger court of how he conducts himself as time goes on.

Doomsday101;3186861 said:I think right now there is a lot of piling on of Tiger and people are forgetting how much good he has done off the golf course. He made a mistake but that mistake is really between Tiger and his wife and all the good he has done should not be overlooked.
Yeagermeister;3187172 said:He'll be just like Kobe. Lose some endorsements now but give him a couple of years and he'll be back to where he was.
CanadianCowboysFan;3187954 said:except Kobe's wife didn't leave him and he only was caught once
Kobe also didn't build an image on being perfect and being able to walk on water, Eldrick did.

Part of Tiger's marketability laid in his appeal beyond golf... for example, my elderly Aunt Shirley, who never watched a golf tournament in her life, took to watching golf on TV when "that nice young man" (her words) was contending...
Those fans are gone forever... he has irrevocably trashed his good name...
He has, but that doesn't change his financial situation right now... they don't give you big endorsement money because you're a philanthropist... they give you those big bucks because you're a big name that the public LIKES...
Period... and the public will never again feel quite the same about Tiger Woods...
Again, you're beyond naive... you might not like it, but he's now a poster boy for the National Enquirer, and his every sexual escapade is fodder for the tabloid grist mill...
And do you REALLY think that a guy who chased tail as relentlessly as Tiger has is suddenly gonna go with the monogamy thing??
Doomsday101;3188411 said:Let me say I'm not naive, I understand the type of world we live in now how else could trash like Jerry Springer and Murray povich be able to stay on TV. The public loves this trash.
I'm sure some will never forgive Tiger that is each person choice. For me I never looked at Tiger as imperfect to begin with but as a person who loves the game of golf I respect his ability which is why I watch him to begin with not because I need to know about his personal live.
By the way I watch Romo because I'm a fan of the Cowboys and enjoy watching him play not because he was with Jessica Simpson and so many people felt the need to know about his relationship with her. It really is none of our business but then maybe that is where the generation gap comes into play for so many now days that is what they need, for me this whole issue is one that is between a man and his wife.
I feel for Tiger wife and if she chooses to leave him I hope she nails him but again that is between her and him it has nothing to do with me nor the respect I have for his ability as a golfer
Does he have to help the black community?CanadianCowboysFan;3187948 said:what has he done to help the black community?
CanadianCowboysFan;3187948 said:what has he done to help the black community?
and the "mistake" wasn't a one off, it was long term with at least 15 chicks
Elin isn't leaving him because he got some on the side, most wives can look past that, it's the fact he got some on the side with so many.

Kangaroo;3188741 said:You realize Tiger is only half black and he is half Asian so is there a point to that statement.
is he supposed to help the Asian community?CanadianCowboysFan;3188824 said:when you look at Eldrick, what do you see? I guarantee 95% of the population sees black man.
but I will play your game, what has he done to help the asian community?
so he's already helped.CanadianCowboysFan;3188819 said:given he was pimped as the first black to win at Augusta, how all the stories before were that x years before, blacks could not play there etc, yes
Kangaroo;3188447 said:I do not get it either I do not understand why people by those magazines you see at the front counter with all the rumors this star blah blah who cares ? why do you care ? do people have to read about some famous person being a moron to feel better ? It does give us some great stuff to make jokes about sometimes
