I'm sure some will never forgive Tiger that is each person choice. For me I never looked at Tiger as imperfect to begin with but as a person who loves the game of golf I respect his ability which is why I watch him to begin with not because I need to know about his personal live.

Dooms, as the son of a golf pro, and a club pro my own self, thus as somebody who basically grew up on golf courses, I love the game of golf like few others do... and that's one of the reasons I never really cared for Tiger...

Yeah, he's uber-talented, but his swing is far from classic... it is a high-maintenance swing, one that requires a lot of work, and not many people can make the kind of violent pass he makes at the ball... but the real reason I don't care for him, as one who loves golf, is he doesn't seem to share my love for the game... I refer to his temper, and his foul mouth on the course... I remember watching Tiger play in an Open at Pebble Beach some years back with my late Mom, who was a fan of his... she heard him launch into one of his vulgar tirades after mis-hitting a tee shot, and never rooted for him again...

You'd never see Jack Nicklaus throwing clubs, slamming clubs into the ground, or cussin' like a trucker... I can be vulgar my own self, so the language in and of itself doesn't bother me that much... but I respect the game too much to act like that on the course (and I sincerely doubt that I'd ever use that kind of language when there were TV cameras around)... Tiger doesn't, so I don't respect him as a golfer... he doesn't love the game the way I do, and I suspect the way you do...

And what particularly annoyed me is that foul-mouthed, evil-tempered golfer cultivated this family-friendly image in his commercials... what hypocrisy...

The only thing I don't like about Tiger is all the idiot, no golf etiquette morons that started playing golf because of him.

Dude, you ever get up close with some of these PGA tour guys at tournaments? They curse like sailors.

Not the ones with any class, they don't... and damn few of them cuss like Tiger does...

At least, I don't recall ever hearing one of them on-camera saying anything like Tiger did in that Pebble Beach Open that I talked about, where after one mis-hit shot-- in the course of a pretty fair round-- he said "G*****n, f****** jerk"... one bad shot, and goes to cussin'...

It wasn't whispered, either... my Mom's eyes got as big as saucers, and then she kind of got a sneer on her face...

That's a direct quote... and that ain't no way to act on national television, period...

And yes, I have gotten up close and personal with some PGA players during a tournament... that would be the 1983 US Open at Oakmont, where I was a marshall on the first hole the first two days... I was working as a club pro at a small club outside of Washington, Pa., about an hour or so southwest of Pittsburgh, and the TriState section of the PGA sent around a flyer to all the clubs asking for help... the owner of my club let me take off Thursday and Friday, but I had to go back to work on the weekend...

It was a great experience, and one that taught me that I never want to play in an Open, LOL... and NONE of the pros uttered more than a "damn", or a "hell" within earshot of me... and they were playing one of the most brutal golf holes I've ever seen, a 480 yard par 4 with fairways about as wide as your average bowling alley (as is typical for US Opens)... but the truly sadistic part was the green, which actually sloped AWAY from the fairway; most holes slope toward the fairway, to make the green more receptive to approach shots...

So those poor schlubs, the ones who were fortunate enough to hit the fairway, found themselves hitting long irons into a lightning-fast green that sloped away from them... have you ever tried to hit a long iron into a green that slopes away from you, man?? :D

Suffice it to say that the majority of players were chipping back to the green from behind it, in the thick stuff... and guess where I was stationed on that first hole?? That's right, behind the green... my job was to help them find their balls in that thick crap...

Like I said, that's when I knew that US Open prepped courses were too tough for me... LOL...

And like I said, most of the players I encountered were not in a good mood, but I didn't hear anything like I've heard comin' out of Tiger's mouth... oh, I'm pretty sure that they get pretty raunchy in the bar after the round (and I can, too), but when they were in front of the paying customers and the TV cameras, they watched their mouths...

It seems that Tiger can't be bothered to respect the sensitivities of the decent folk who might be in the gallery, or watching on TV... to me, this is a reflection of a fundamental lack of character, so I wasn't entirely surprised to find out he spends his leisure hours trying to nail every tramp he comes across...

Has anyone got a credible count of when and where he had all these chicks?
I really doubt he did all of them considering how much time he put in practicing. There are only 24 hours in a day.
