I don't think so. They never believed that Bledsoe was going to get them where they wanted to be team wise. Granted Losman played like crap however Holcomb has played decently. I would think that you'll see Losman given another shot.

He has rallied and carried this team repeatedly.

And Carter aint coming back - move on.

Bledsoe hasn't done a thing that Vinny and Q couldn't have done with this roster and our schedule so far. Carter even got us to playoffs with less talent and tougher schedule. Carter passed for over 1000 yards against the Giants in 4 starts and threw twice as many tds as ints, that's an average of 250 yards a game in just his first 3 years in the league. Carter also didn't have a great supporting cast. Carter also has a 3-0 record against the Skins, a 2-1 record against the Giants and beat the Eagles when their defense showed up. With the talent on this team and Bledsoe's experience, we SHOULD be undefeated and averaging 300 yards a game passing and we SHOULD be scoring 25 points a game. In six games, we scored under 20 points 3 times.
Bledsoe single-handedly lost both the Raiders and Commanders games by missing Witten. Carter never specifically lost any game he played for us. It was always a group effort,plus he had the handicap of playing under Campo and Coslet with little talent. Carter helped this team to over-achieve and Bledsoe has under-achieved in losing two games. Carter gave us comebacks against playoff teams when we went 5-11 overrall, Carter gave us comebacks against playoff teams like the Eagles,Panthers in 2003. He may not be coming back, but we sure wont go any further without him until we get a new millenia qb.

I agree whole-heartedly Michael, I don't think Bledsoe will do it either, because that's not his history, but if he does, I'll give him due credit. I'll eat my words, but like you, I'm not giving him credit for Parcells building a great team around and winning a few games in 6 starts. Neither Vinny or Q had this kind of protection, nor did they have a defense that could create turnovers. I will not give him credit for a 6 game season or what the defense does. The defense clearly bailed us out with creating 4 turnovers nullifying Bledsoe's 3.

I could respect the opinion of someone who likes or dislikes Bledsoe, ... but when they start trying to get me to remember QC as a great NFL QB, they lose all credibility with me.

I'm not on the Bledsoe bandwagon but I'll readily admit what he's done here leads to winning. For that reason alone I am behind him 100%. There is no way on this earth that your hero would have us 4-2 or have a QB rating this high.
