This is really silly. I thought precedence has laid the whole OLB Vs DE to rest. You don’t get paid based on your run stopping ability as a DE. You get paid based on impact on game, mainly pressures and sacks. Are you suggesting TJ Watt should get paid less than Myles Garrett? Or even worse an average pass rushing DE who’s good at stopping the run like Chauncey Gholston?

Schoon was supposed to be a really good blocker but he has not been all that

I wish we could get the scoop on that pick. I actually like him Schoon probably better than most, but yes, he's not the best blocker and that's how we use him. I remember when we drafted him, I didn't realize he was that big, mostly because he was split off the line a lot at Michigan. And that was because Harbaugh knew he was more of a receiver. Mike talked that offseason about "owning the C gap" so it sounds like he wanted a blocking TE, but that's not what he got.

There was a video on that draft where they talked about Mazi and the third round pick but skipped Schoon. There must have been some disagreement on him that they didn't want to show.

It honestly doesn't. People's opinion of his having a podcast has absolutely nothing to do with his play, his conditioning, his future salary, his actions on the field, the position he plays, or any of the other things people take jabs at him for.

It's similar to the way people use any excuse to belittle Dak, for anything little thing he does. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty to criticize, regarding Dak's play this season, but the man can't utter two words without someone posting vitriol about what he said.

Actually I do see Micah disappear in games. Everyone has. So claiming otherwise is dumb.

Just because he's not getting sacks doesn't mean he's disappeared. He's either getting pressures, drawing protection away from other (who still can't do anything), or forcing the opponent to change their game plan.

You chose to address only one because all the others are indefensible

I wanted us to draft him when others here wanted more CBs.

But here is the fact. You cannot build a SB champion when your highest paid players are an above average QB, a good CB who cant tackle, a great WR and soon to be a LB paid at elite DE level

We are a team that prioritizes glitz and splash over substance and fans who don’t understand fall for it

I have consistently voiced my opinion against anything that i believe goes against building a SB roster

Some just like to find "faults" and run with it. Uh oh, someone tweeted what Parsons said on his podcast? Team lost last week? Why isn't he training all night??

Yea, he says some stuff too candidly, but it's not like he's showing up on gameday. We know he isn't a great run stopper, but for 3 years he was crafted by Quinn to rush the passer first.
Hell, I'm no super fan of Parsons but I feel some go over the edge on ripping certain players.

He doesn't even have a big contract and for years some try to make boogeymen out of nothing.
