great, then we agree Dak is a very good top 10 QB. now in regards to how much money we want to give him, that's another argument. in general how much money do we want to spend on a QB, we know Dak's market value. its the value the market has set, not Dak, no Jones. 5 other QBs got similar contracts.
if we don't want to pay Dak what his market value is, then who do we want to bring in? you and some of your brethren wanted Dalton. oh well, we see how that's working out. who else you got? the undisputed, undeniable facts are that the easiest way to make it to the superbowl is by having a QB in place. you don't want to pay 40M to a QB? then go pay two 25M contracts to two defensive players, to rise from shiitty to average. that's the cost of getting an injury prone, half hearted Clowney or Lawrence (who we already are paying 20M) who is ineffective (except against the run...whoopdeedoo).
plus, all you Dak detractor pundits keep talking about having money to sign FAs for defense yet no one has been able to provide whom we would sign in FA that would be worth it. how many can we sign and what's the impact on the team.
all you are is someone who hates dak not because of his play, which is undisputed based on results we already see and compared to all other QBs in the league, but its a number you are hung up on....and you all would be ok with 30M, but 38M is making you shake in your boots and foam at the mouth....all because of supposed 8M as if 8M is going to fix this defense!!!
