Holley says Ware was pissed at Jerry ESPN Interview (Audio)

I think Ware was really ticked off because he realized he has to actually practice now.:) But he soon got over it because he soon realized he can do a lot more skiing in Denver. And he got more money.

Good for him and good for the Cowboys. He had a nice 9 years here and I'm happy he was a Cowboy. And I'm happy he no longer is a Cowboy. We all need to move on. Sometimes people need a fresh start.

Oh no no no no

We gonna beat that horse till our arms fall off.

It's the cowboys media and fans way.

Gotta be honest, I wanted to root for Jesse Holley, even thought I thought he was nothing more than a circus gag. But ever since he was let go, I'm finding it really hard to like the guy.

He will have nobody to give him information once his friends are off the team.

Meant that I didn't believe him........any thing negative about the Cowboys is in the $$$$money$$$$
and he's just trying to get his piece of the pie

Audio is down. Hope someohe has another link to that podcast. Checked the Ben and Skin podcast site and it's not up (not posted).

Seriously? I find the guy at the local QuikyMart more informative and credible than Jesi Holley.

What is so hard to believe? Look @ what is happening. Players are flocking out of here. And All Jerry can do is sign fringe players that are willing to come here to collect a check. Jerry can barely field a team for christ's sake. Hell...look @ the coaching staff. Same thing. Our defensive coordinator once coached an 0-16 football team. I for one buy everything Holley said.

I bet he went out to dinner with McCray and talked a little Cowboys. I'm sure he's also dramatizing Ware's feelings to increase ratings. I definitely think their is some truth behind this, but nothing like it is being made out to be. Just a guy being upset about being mentioned in the media, and released from his team. It's not anything crazy.

I admit I haven't listened yet, but how much contact does Holley have with current players? Anybody know?

The NFL is a fraternity. Holley lives here in Dallas. I'm sure he still has contact with the players. Marcus Spears is back here too. I'm sure Hatcher will maintain his home here. So they'll still have contact with the guys.

If i'm DeMarcus, i'd get upset by some of the things Jerry said also. Sure Ware was injured but he showed up on Sunday to try to earn his paycheck and help the team. He wasn't Miles.

Some coaches make better coordinators than head coaches. I don't think Marinelli is somebody to take shots at. He did a pretty good job with the scraps he was given last season.

The players flocking out of here are the ones that need to be gone. This core of players, had their chances to make the playoffs, win in the playoffs, etc. but failed. As much as it's Jerry's fault, the players failed to get the job done also.

ESPN absolutely salivates over loose lips sources like Holley. I wonder why they haven't gotten him booked for a few interviews/shows yet?

He does Cowboys pre and postgame show on that Station he was on. Don't hate on Holley guys, the man has to earn a living. He didn't make a ton of money. There are posters at the Zone who are a lot worse.

Well, he's got an audience since he's working for the The Fan. I've never actually heard him on the radio, so I have no idea how he comes across on there.

Ugh, it's really bumming me out to read his quotes. Ah well.

He's got a true shot at a ring now at least, instead of wasting away the rest of his career here. If it were only so easy as a fan.

If you'll note, I snipped all the wonderful things he said about the Broncos from the post.

Ware's a good guy and even if he was upset about the turn of events, that's a natural thing. People thought he was going to be singing lullabyes and fairy tale songs when he got the news? smh

Whatever. I am sure the players aren't blind to the goings on in the organization. Holley said Ware was not happy with the direction the team was going, the changes made to the coaching staff, etc.

I personally think that Ratliff was not happy about the same things. [Just speculation on my part]

More importantly, I wanted Hawkins to win 4th and long, not Holley. Looks like I was right and the Playmaker was wrong.

Maybe I'm dense but it seems to me that players hanging out and hearing this stuff is reasonable to me. I think they get more information than say a reporter who is getting sound bytes. Ware is classy. He's never going to say anything. These guys have egos so there are going to be things that rile them up.

Of course it's reasonable. Some things are obviously a matter of opinion and not fact, but do people really think players like Holley and Crayton and Greg Ellis are making up outright lies when they say these things?

I'm more confused that Ware could be mad at anyone for anything. I've read that his attitude was far too nice and he was far too gentle a person to ever do a thing like that.

I doubt any Holley on camera face time is what's stopping ESPN. Usually, the network slots way too much programming on Dallas stuff far less critical in nature than Holley's comments recently. This stuff is right up their alley and they aren't exploiting it 24/7? That doesn't quite pass the smell test.
