Holy Distractions, Batman! Gospel Singing at Training Camp

If you don't like hearing a Black Church choir then there is just no hope for you at all!

Like I said, it's annoying. I don't need saving and I don't need to raise my hands while insistent, shrill voices engulf the senses.

Just get the gosh-darned service over with so I kin see the NFL on Sundays!!!

Now I don't know how loud they were singing, or if the singing was thropughout the practice, but if they were too loud that folks can't focus on whats goin on on the field, than it is definately annoying and has to stop.

Keep that joyful song in your heart so you won't annoy your neighbor.

Oh, please... If the team can't handle 200 people singing, then how are they supposed to "focus" when 50,000 beer soaked fans are yelling at them?

Since I haven't read all of the threads, i'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but from a positve perspective, WP did state previously that the crowd noise in the Alamodome is helpful in preparing his team to deal with it for games. I suspect that he sees this as opportunity to see how his team reacts with distractions.

It wouldn't bother me as long as they weren't singing while the team was on the field practicing. Not because I wanted to concentrate but because I don't want the team getting distracted. Now if they want to sing durring water breaks or what not I say more power to them.

I was there yesterday when the choir was there and they were not singing at all during practice.

They did do a lot of chants and lead the dome in many ovations for some of the players.

They seemed to liven the place up with the chants.
