Dude's probably mentally ill, spouted some racist nonsense, and these low-IQ ding dongs took it as an opportunity to effect some brutal power over someone in their sad lives. Terrible all around. Sad. Heartbreaking.

It's an assumption on my part. Mentally ill people are disproportionately victimized but a lot of it comes from the things they do and say to people who don't understand they have a disease. It's possible this is a group of dudes that just like to roll up and beat down homeless. More likely, I think, these are people that don't know one another and a series of events and comments happened to lead to a dust-up. I'm making my own story up, but I bet I'm closer to the truth than not.

Your true colors are showing. Yes, you've been caught. o_O

I have a hard time believing that the three guys surrounding Brymer in the video don't know each other, but your guess it as good as mine.

It's interesting that in the back story he is accused of racial slurs, though they all say it's out of character for him (including blacks he knows) and you just proposed a similar event in this instance... It's just an interesting component of our times and the divisiveness of race relations--which we obviously won't get into here.

Honestly I hadn't read the backstory when I posted. Having scanned it now I feel I'm more than likely right in my original theory, it's just a frequent component of mental illness. The reason I surmised the dude's didn't know each other, or at least not all of them, is that in high stress situations we see a reversion to lower-brain functioning, among those is segregation with the familiar. Racial or gender division would be the norm. But don't take what I say too seriously, I'm in no way a professional psychologist or the like.

You have parties where you laugh at the unfortunate? That sounds amazing.

Yeah, because that's totally what that statement meant. I have parties...where the theme is...."laugh at the unfortunate".....did that sound impressive in your head?

I have no idea what you meant by your statement. The thread topic, however is pretty clear.

A former player has fallen on hard times. You and StarBoyz are struggling with the context. I'm embarrassed for the two of you. There's a time and a place for mockery. A thread like this is not one of those places.

I mean, seriously. I'm all for joking around, but this is just a sad story.

Thanks, humour police. Please just give me a warning.

You guys don't seem to understand mental illness. You think if you had it, you cope better than these dudes but let's hope you never have to put that to the test.

I'm pure darwinistic too. Where he advance the human race but stop protecting people from themselves. Eliminate flaws in the gene pool by removing labels and putting a gun shop on every corner right next to the liquor store.

But mental illness is a disease. You guys should be treating it as such.

Amazing. I swear the chicken crap piles of garbage are just multiplying like crazy. Wanting to be filmed sucker punching someone down on his luck, the cowards in NYC slashing women on the subway. Just round this trash up hook them up to a machine and use them for parts for useful humans.

Not only are there several serious directions to this story...but c'mon, he was even a former Cowboys player.

Lots of people never realize how real other peoples problems are. The actual things that they do may seem idiotic, but a large part of the time there is a real psychological issue that they deal with that a lot or regular people deal with, that has become more severe for them. Its why I don't "laugh" at Manziel and his antics, or just blindly call Randy Gregory a "moron". You don't know what they are dealing with.

Truth.

Your 2nd paragraph is completely opposite of your other two.

Lol!

Maybe his problems are so severe he dies! Think of the pain that would cause his family! Hilarious!!!

At least we can still laugh at Brymer.

Exactly, where are we as a society when we discard these people like trash and laugh?

I wish Brymer had knocked that idiot out cold

I have no sympathy for anyone that brings problems on themselves. It's those that don't that I have sympathy for. The real problem is most people's issues stem from their own actions. Like all of yours for instance. :muttley:

No sympathy? Try a peaceful march when dogs were used to attack...along with stick wielding cops....rescan item....rescan item....rescan item.

Men making up an alarming amount of the homeless is no laughing matter, don't care what this guy did to get there. Even good men find themselves on the street due to circumstances.

My oldest son is mentally ill, so I find no humor in this at all. He's getting help now, and I am happy about that. I fear he will be on the streets in the future. It is difficult to talk to him, because he is delusional and says insane things, like he has travelled to all these other dimensions and worlds. He is dead serious when he says it. Wish Brymer knocked all of them cold. That was just plain wrong to be picking on a homeless man.

I also don't like the racist view I've seen on the internet taking place on this story.
