Since Parcells has been with the team, I've never felt better about our chances beating the Egirls.

100%. We are on the rise. The Egirls are on their way down and 2 years away from rebuilding.

Flip a coin. I could see just about any range of scenarios for this game to play out.

I'm going with 60% and I'm probably a homer for giving us that good of a chance. The Linc will be a madhouse. We are the better team right now, but the Eagles will be tough to beat this week.

I'd say about 55%. Dallas should win but one mistake or bad play could change it.

The way I see the game playing out is one of three scenarios;

1) The Eagles come out fired up and ride that emotion to an easy win.

2) The Eagles concentrate on Owens to their own detriment and Glenn, Witten, ...someone else.. puts up a huge game.

3) Owens owns the depleted secondary and dominates.

My single biggest concern is that it's a tight ball game early but Dallas takes some of the thunder out of the Eagles and the crowd but Owens scores, does something to fire the Eagles and get the crowd back in the game.

Playing against a very good division rival on the road....despite all the homerism around here, I'd say it's definitely 50/50. We'll have a good chance to win if we avoid mistakes and don't let them get on a roll.

We will not beat the Eagles with a mediocre game.

50/50.

That would be pessimistic for some but its being optimistic for me. It means I think the Cowboys are the better team playing a tough division foe on their turf.

The Giants won the division last year because they were 8-1 at home. If you've got game you are supposed to hold serve at your place. We did with Washington and if Philly has any aspirations of winning the NFCE they had better with us. They can not afford to go down 0-2 at home in the division with the hardest part of their schedule still on the docket.

We'll win....

unless we lose....

How's that for a Yogiism?

Seriously, I've never felt good going into an Eagle game. Remember 92'? I do...Both the Eagles and Cowboys were playing well. The Eagles had owned us (we actually beat them at Philly the previous year), but we were clearly on the rise. Well, I think we scored first on a long pass to Irvin...But the game quickly got out of hand.

The Eagles creamed us. I think the final was 38-7? Anyway, we were embarassed. I was beginning to doubt how good we were. But you know how the story ends.....

I'm not going to worry if we get beaten or blown out this game. Emotions will be running high. Who can predict what will happen in these types of games?

I do think we're a more talented team overall. We shouldn't fear Philly, but we're so young, I worry about us getting the "Wide-Eye" syndrome. This is clearly the biggest game most of our players have ever played.

I don't predict scores...I don't predict wins....I will predict this though.

If we win this game, I think we win the division. Winning this game in a VERY hostile environment, with all the attention, against a team that's playing good, will show the mettle of our team.

Ok, I'm one of the biggest fans, so sometime i can be a homer.

I often get a feeling before games, just emotion wise, during the week because i listen to all the interviews, pcs, read all the articles, etc.

I can't predict all the games because of this (for instance, the whole suicide thing messed up last week), but I often get a good or bad feeling before games that turns out to be right.

I feel bad about this week, at least I have most of the week. I'd say i felt about 30% confident. I think emotion plays so much in the game, and they got it all.

But listening to the vibe this week, I sense a silent confidence on the team. I like that. I'm upping our odds to 50%

Anything higher is a true homer...

Percentage-wise, how confident are you that the Cowboys will win this game? Are you 80% sure, 70, 60, 50, what?

Personally, right now I feel about 65% sure Dallas wins. I like our chances, but I'm still nervous about this one.

Last week (at Tennessee), I was probably 90% sure Dallas would win.

Just curious about the fans' confidence heading into this one. I've made a similar thread at the Eagles WarNest, and I'll post their results here later.

90%. The Eagles have beaten the Texans, 49rs and Packers. They played a suspect NY Giants team..AND LOST!! Does anyone really think the Cowboys D will have difficulty containing McBaby without any credible receivers?
