Part of me thinks this could turn out to be like the game last year where we blew them out....then again, I've had those thoughts about teams that we SHOULD have easily beaten only to have us fold.

If we win, it will really hurt Philly. A lot.

A knife through the heart of Philly fans would make my week. I am already prepared to ice down the Moet and light up a Montecristo.

Four preseason games, three regular season games, and now...this. Too many things sets this game apart. It'll be one of those all-time great battles, and I wouldn't waste one second of my time worrying about it until and unless it's late in the fourth quarter and up for grabs. Then it's time to worry, because I don't see us winning this with a late FG.

But I'm confident enough in this team to know that I will be enjoying every second of it.

I think we will learn a lot about two guys this week. Parcells and Bledsoe. We will find out just how good a coach Bill is because, he has a team with more talent going into a hostile place. I really think that with this team Jimmy Johnson would win this game, And, we will also find out about Bledsoe, does he have what it takes to win it all??????

53% tops -- they are very beat up but we have yet to prove that we can win these types of games.

I see a lot of potential heartache being built in this thread...

Percentage-wise, how confident are you that the Cowboys will win this game? Are you 80% sure, 70, 60, 50, what?

Personally, right now I feel about 65% sure Dallas wins. I like our chances, but I'm still nervous about this one.

Last week (at Tennessee), I was probably 90% sure Dallas would win.

Just curious about the fans' confidence heading into this one. I've made a similar thread at the Eagles WarNest, and I'll post their results here later.

Seeing how the game is being played in Philly I would say 60 percent chance of a Dallas win. To tell the truth though I love it and this is the reason why I love this game so much. This is a big game between 2 good teams and the fear of losing only adds to the excitement

I am 75% sure the Cowboys win. I think BP really wants to get control of this division.

25%.

I think Dallas has the capability of beating the Eagles, but this is their Katrina game and typically we don't play very well in Philly.

40%.

i actually think dallas will lose this one 24-21.

eagles have won 10 of the last 14. IMHO, our sweep last year was an anomaly with all their injuries.

I'm praying Dallas wins, but I think Philly will come out like gangbusters. They will be looking to send a message and havn't forgot the sweep they got last year. I think Westbrook plays along w/ Stallworth. I'm saying 31-20. The games in Philly, TO returns, fans will be irrate, and penalties will kill us. 20% chance if the football gods are on our side which I doubt.

I think that has alot to do with your OL. Bledsoe is an experienced and talented QB, but it all starts up front folks. You give any NFL QB time and he'll tear the secondary apart. I certainly wouldn't put it all on the QB.

BTW, Parcells is one of my all-time favorite coaches. I love his brutal honesty.

Im at 50% on this one, even though the Eagles are somewhat banged up right now. This game is their season, perhaps, and they feel they must hold serve at home to win the NFC East.
I also have a strong feeling this game will be decided late in the 4th quarter.

If we don't beat ourselves with mistakes and pentalities than I'm a 100% sure we will win this game EASILY. If we turn the ball over than it might be a tough game.

Philly just isn't as good as people think they are and that will be proved on sunday.

Now how incredibly goofy is this statement? This is just one step shy of saying you are certain we will win IF we score more points than they do.

Predictions mean nothing if you are covering your butt and placing contingencies on your opinion.

You may have noticed that Vegas bookmakers won't let you hedge a bet by saying it only counts IF the team you bet on doesn't make mistakes.

Mistakes are part of the game, and no team can completely avoid them. The odds of a team winning or losing have to factor in the possibility of mistakes - that's the way it works.

Star Among Stars demands a Superbowl this year and Superbowls require signature wins. He has declared elsewhere that a loss on Sunday dooms the Cowboys this season and since he demands a Superbowl that means the Cowboys must win. That explains the 100% part.

Once you get past the crowd and the hoopla, I just feel that we have a better team. The only decent team Philly has faced ... they didn't impress me in that game. I like our match ups... with that said.. it's the NFCE on the road and the game will be tough. I'm at about 67% right now based on their injuries.

A few big plays will decide a game like this. Hopefully, we make more of them. But I think we will win. I don't think Julius will be accounted for enough early in the game and Parcells will do what he likes best. I expect Jones and Barber to be the MVPs of this game.

I'm probably 60%.

What I saw/heard about Bledsoe in games #1 & #2 still has me very concerned.

I think this team has tremendous potential. But I think the D is still very much discovering itself. And I think Bledsoe is a real achilles heel.

I thought Bledsoe elevated the team last year until the O-line made it impossible for him to do so.

Now, I think Bledsoe has actually held the team back. I hope its temporary, and if so, great, we should be off and running. But I am actually one of those who would be willing to give Romo some gametime to see if he's ready even though I know "he's never thrown a regular season pass".

I also have great respect for what Philly has accomplished under McNabb. And playing in Philly is always very tough.
